Sun Haven: Nintendo Switch Release Date

Sun Haven is a fun farming/adventure simulation game that will let you live your life in a different, fantasy world. Most games similar to Sun Haven tend to have a lot of success on the Nintendo Switch. However, these games usually take a while until they manage to get on the console. By checking the Discord servers and Trello boards that the developers have given us, we have learned the general date when Sun Haven will be released on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch Release Date for Sun Haven

There is no exact date at the moment for the release of Sun Haven on the Nintendo Switch, but the developers have stated that the port is in development. On their Trello board, Pixel Sprout Studios has listed that Sun Haven will come to the Nintendo Switch with the 1.2 update. Since the game just released, this might still take some time.

Most major updates for Sun Haven have been released in 2 to 4 months intervals. Given that, this means that the Nintendo Switch port is likely to come in around 4 to 8 months. Originally, the game was supposed to also come to the Switch with the 1.0 release. However, it seems that something went wrong in the meantime.

Since there is no full controller support for the Sun Haven at the moment, it will surely take a while for the game to come to the new platform. Until now, we haven’t been able to find any comments from Pixel Sprout Studios regarding a real possible release date for the Switch. They have made this comment about the situation when announcing the 1.0 update:

“At this time, the ball is currently in Nintendo’s court, and we are waiting on them in order to continue making progress on our end. As a result, the release of Sun Haven on Nintendo Switch will be pushed out a bit longer, and will go Live as soon as we are given the greenlight, and can finish the port.”

Update:

We are now at update 1.2 and there is still no sign that Sun Haven is coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future.
