Roots of Pacha is a fun farming/life simulation game that will let you live your life in the stone age. Most games similar to Roots of Pacha tend to have a lot of success on the Nintendo Switch. However, these games usually take a while until they manage to get on the console. By checking the official Discord server where the developers have given access to all players to a lot of insider info, we have learned the general date when Roots of Pacha will be released on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch Release Date for Roots of Pacha
There is no exact date at the moment for the release of Roots of Pacha on the Nintendo Switch, but the developers have stated that the port is in development. Back in 2021, the developers talked about working on the Switch version of the game and a crossplay function on their Kickstarter.
After looking through the official Discord for Roots of Pacha, it seems that the developers are working hard on bringing the game to all the consoles, including the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, they cannot give an estimated release date yet. It seems that they are going to prioritize getting rid of bugs and then start working on the console version of the game.
Usually, when a game like this just releases, it takes at least a few months until a Switch port comes. So, in our most optimistic estimate, you are likely to get Roots of Pacha on the Nintendo Switch by the end of the year. However, this is just speculation.
Here is what the developers wrote the fans on Kickstarter:
“Days after starting the Kickstarter campaign, we got our Nintendo Switch Dev kits. Just yesterday, we were given access to the full SDK and the libraries we’re using in Roots of Pacha. We carefully chose those libraries in the hopes of having Roots of Pacha run in the current console of Nintendo. Today another of our dreams (inside this bigger dream) is much closer to becoming real.”
They also stated this on Steam for the release of the game:
“After the game releases, we’ll first focus on making sure the game is stable and a bug-free experience. Then, we’ll begin the process of porting and testing the game on consoles. As this happens, we will be able to share what our expected roadmap is for the remaining content.”
