Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has some pretty interesting quests here and there that can surprise most players with their funny writing and immersive storytelling. One of the most interesting things players can do in Footfall Atrium is to solve the will of a deceased pirate and help one of three people get everything the mighty man owned once. Well, if you talk to everyone you will learn that things are a bit weird and there isn’t a happy ending for most people involved. So, in this guide we will show you how to find out who Fidelio is and what happens depending on who you choose to give the inheritance in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader.

How to Find Out Who Fidelio Is in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader
The Underworld quest starts with players entering a funeral for the mighty pirate Bellardo. You will learn that in this man’s will, a person named Fidelio has been designated as the heir to all his riches. However, this person is not present at the funeral and you will likely want to find out who it is.
First of all, to find out who Fidelio is in Rogue Trader, you will need to talk to all the important people present at the funeral: Kas Bellardo, First Mate Daggen, and Adelia. They will be very important for the coming decision, so exhaust all of the possible dialogue lines with them.
Then, approach the book in the southern part of the room, next to the body, and look at it. You will see that someone wrote “Repentance” there.
Finally, talk to the Chaplain and discuss your findings with him. Explore the possibility that Repentance might be a ship, and you will now realize that Fidelio might be the woman that almost ended Bellardo’s life many years ago.
Once you’ve figured this out, talk to the Servitor right next to First Mate Daggen (the one in the image at the top of the guide) and say “Repentance.”
The Servitor will go crazy and the Rogue Trader will have a conversation with the Chaplain where they realize that this must be Fidelio, the woman that almost defeated Bellardo.
Who to Choose as the Heir
Following the surprising revelation, no matter if everyone knows you are the Rogue Trader or they think you are Fidelio, you will have the choice to decide who should get Bellardo’s inheritance:
- Kas Bellardo
- First Mate Daggen
- Adelia (Iconoclast – Follower)
- No one
If you know that Fidelio is the Servitor, then you have the choice to fight everyone and get revenge for her. Otherwise, you can choose to keep everything for yourself or give it to one of the three listed above.
It seems that choosing to get all of the inheritance yourself will get you +1 Profit Factor, while all the other ones will get you promises of help in the future. Based on this, it seems like the best heir choice is either yourself or Adelia.
