This decision seems to be relatively important, as it could hide you from various scenarios and quests you wouldn’t see if you chose to go one way or another. Enter Footfall Incognito or Make an Official Visit in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader
Right after Theodora’s funeral and the destruction of Rykard Minoris, you will have to make a choice in regards to your entrance into Footfall. Will you go incognito and have total freedom while exploring the station or will you make an official announcement for everyone to hear who you are?
Well, there really is no real difference, it all depends on how you like to do things. If you want everyone to listen to what you have to say as an almighty Rogue Trader then make the Footfall visit official. If you want to do cunning, weird things, then go incognito.
The official visit makes things easier, since everyone just listens to what you have to say and they all respect all your decisions. However, if you go incognito, you have the chance to experience funnier conversations and dialogues with the people.
The best part of going incognito is the Underworld quest where you need to find out who Fidelio is. As an incognito Rogue Trader, you can lie that you are Fidelio and witness one of the best and funniest quests in all of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader.
So, if you don’t want people blatantly disrespecting your Rogue Trader, go with the official choice, but if you want to have fun and be in a disadvantageous position for once, go for the incognito choice.
