The bosses in V Rising just keep getting more and more interesting. One boss with a cool design that you will probably hate is Sir Magnus the Overseer. Not only is he situated in a horrible location that you can reach by fighting through a lot of enemies, but he also has some very powerful attacks that will stun you 90% of the fight. Sir Magnus the Overseer is a level 66 V Blood boss that you will probably fight right after defeating Cyril the Cursed Smith, as he is the first one to face in Act 3. Here is the exact location where you can find Sir Magnus the Overseer in V Rising, and how to defeat him using the element he hates.
Sir Magnus the Overseer Location in V Rising

The location where you can find Sir Magnus the Overseer in V Rising is the Sacred Silver Mine in the Silverlight Hills region. The Sacred Silver Mine is situated in the North-Western side of the Silverlight Hills and it occupies a huge area, it is almost impossible to miss.
If you look at the map above, you can see that Sir Magnus the Overseer is waiting on the lower side of the mine, right next to what looks like an entrance. If you approach the iron gate that looks like the entrance to the Sacred Silver Mine you will realize that there is no way to break it.
Still, you will see Sir Magnus on the other side of this gate. To actually get inside the Sacred Silver Mine in V Rising, you will need to enter through the side tunnel we have highlighted in the image above (the purple corridor).
Once you are inside, you will have to get through all of the Sacred Silver Mine to reach the exit where Sir Magnus the Overseer is patrolling. He is waiting in the open space right next to the iron gate, so make sure to attempt this battle at night.
There is almost no cover and the battle will happen in the huge courtyard of the mine. If you try to fight him inside the houses or next to the wall, he will most likely stun and freeze you since there is no space to maneuver.
How to Defeat Sir Magnus the Overseer in V Rising

To defeat Sir Magnus the Overseer in V Rising, you will need to prepare against an onslaught of melee attacks. He will use a poleaxe to constantly get you in close range.
One of the most common attacks he will use is one where he slams the ground and icicles appear all around him, creating a wall. These ice walls can be very annoying as they can block you in that circle and will then have to face him in close quarters.
He will also use an attack where he will impale you and throw you backward, which can cause your death easily if you fight him during the day. As he impales you, you will be stuck while he does the animation and also stunned when you reach the ground.
Another dangerous attack is one where he shoots three ice projectiles at you in a cone angle, that will instantly freeze you if they make contact. Once you get through half of his health, he will also start using the Ice Block spell.
He will use the skill along with the ice wall spell, as it will allow him to heal himself. He will be frozen, take less damage while this happens, and recover some health if you don’t get him out of the frozen state.
His Ice Block spell is actually the best moment to deal damage to Sir Magnus, as he finally stops moving and attacking in every direction.
