Though Henry Blackbrew the Doctor isn’t the strongest enemy you will find in the Gloomrot region in V Rising, he is the reason why all of these monsters in the area exist. In many ways, he is the “main villain” of the region, as you will have to fight his associates and “experiments.” Unfortunately, you will have to defeat this level 74 V Blood boss if you wish to get the Athenaeum, which is the last tier of the research bench you can get in V Rising. So, here is the exact location where you can find the V Blood boss Henry Blackbrew the Doctor in V Rising, and how to defeat him to unlock the Athenaeum.
Henry Blackbrew the Doctor Location in V Rising

The location where you can find Henry Blackbrew the Doctor in V Rising is the Trancendum Laboratories, in the middle of Gloomrot North. You can see the exact point where he is doing his research in the image above, shown with the purple arrow.
Both Waygates in the Gloomrot North region are extremely close to the Laboratories, allowing you to quickly get there from any direction. Both the outside and inside of the building will be full of enemies.
Henry is sitting inside a big glass room which you can only enter from the South-East. This means that you will have to get through some of his goons before actually facing him, no matter what.
How to Defeat Henry Blackbrew the Doctor in V Rising

To defeat Henry Blackbrew the Doctor in V Rising, you will need to be extremely patient. He has a lot of moves and you will need to learn each one of them to successfully win, especially solo.
The most dangerous attack he has is his Counter attack, the Discharge. Every so often he envelopes himself in electricity and a Counter bar will appear over his head. If you hit him while he has his Counter ready, he will charge you, damage you really badly, and leave you hanging in the air, while he prepares his next attack.
Due to this extremely powerful spell, you will need to be very patient. Usually, the best moments to attack him are right after he uses Discharge or while he is channeling some different power.
Right after Discharge, he will often either fly a bit into the air and shoot lasers in an X shape around himself or prepare a lightning ball which he will throw at you. The lasers are easy to dodge if you stand right in front of his face. For the lightning ball, you will need a shield or dash spell.
Henry will also activate the spheres around the lab to create electricity barriers all over the battlefield. If you pass through them, you will get damaged and get Static inflicted on yourself.
He might even connect to one of them to cause a lot of electrical spheres to pump out and fly around the lab. This would be the best moment to use your ultimate, as Henry won’t move for a while.
After you get through half of his health, all of the spheres will connect and he will jump in the middle to push you into the edges, where you will get damaged badly.
Recommended Spells and Weapons
The best dash spell for this battle would be Veil of Chaos, as you will need it when he starts pushing you into the electrical fence. When it comes to attack spells, the Chaos Volley deals really good damage to him.
One of the best spells that you will need to use to win the battle with Henry Blackbrew the Doctor in V Rising is Chaos Barrier. When he will send those electric balls to you, Chaos Barrier will not only protect you but also deal damage to him. Recast and you get two easy hits on him.
For the ultimate, you can either choose something you personally like or Artic Leap, as you can also use it while he is pushing you into the edges to jump at him and avoid reaching the electrical fence.
When it comes to weapons, the best to counter his end-game pushing power is the greatsword. The secondary attack for the greatsword will allow you to jump forward while he is constantly pushing you back. Combining the greatswords skills with Veil of Chaos, you will never end up touching the edges.
