Koei Tecmo’s Fate/Samurai Remnant has released worldwide and is currently avaiable to play in English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. Any one of these languages would be perfect for someone that understood them. If you’ve accidentally picked the wrong one in your excitement or your Steam version of the game is booting up the wrong language when you start, here is how you can change the game language to English in Fate/Samurai Remnant.
How to Change Language in Fate/Samurai Remnant
If you want to change language in Fate/Samurai Remant you must simply go to Steam and press the green play button, then select the language you want to play in via a small pop up menu.
Many players have become confused upon booting up the PC Fate/Samurai Remnant and being met with the wrong versions. This issue is widespread enough that there are several Steam forum threads about it. fixing this is easy though. You just need to look at the game’s Steam page and not the game itself.
Unlike in many games, there is no option inside of Fate/Samurai Remnant itself to change the language. Instead you’ll need to go to Steam if you’ve accidentally booted up the Japanese or Chinese version of the game and change your settings there.
Here’s how to change the language in Fate/Samurai Remnant on the Steam version of the game:
- Open up you Steam library
- Go to Fate/Samurai Remnant’s page
- Look for the green play button. This will boot up the game, but more importantly will bring up small pop-up menu asking which version you want to open
- Select the language you want from the options available to you.
These three different versions of the game are the English version, Japanese version, and Asian (Chinese+Korean version). So while Fate/Samurai Remnant itself doesn’t give you the option, this menu does in a way give you the ability to change the language.
