The Goblin Camp is full of villains and bad people that want to do evil for the sake of it. The leaders of the goblins are no different, including Priestess Gut. This leader will first want to brand you with the emblem of the Absolute and will then offer you to talk privately in her chambers about your tadpole problem. If you go into her room and talk to her, True Soul Gut will offer to clear your head after you kick your party out by giving you a special potion to drink. So, most players probably wonder what the repercussions for such a choice could be. Here is what happens if you accept to clear your head and drink the potion from True Soul (Priestess) Gut in Baldur’s Gate 3.
What Happens If You Clear Your Head and Drink Potion from True Soul (Priestess) Gut in BG3
To actually hear about the potion, Gut will tell you to kick your party out of the room. After that, you tell her that you are ready to clear your head and she will give you a potion. The potion is a sleep potion. So, if you drink it, you will fall asleep and wake up in a prison cell.
If you fail all the checks in the prison to escape, a Warlock working for Raphael will come and save you, ending True Soul Gut’s life.
If you are one of the Elven races, you are immune to sleep, which means that you will chug the potion and nothing will happen. This will instantly trigger True Soul Gut to attack you.
So, if you want to easily get rid of True Soul Gut without fighting in BG3, you can just drink her sleep potion to “clear your head” with a human character (main character or Gale), fail all checks to escape prison, and wait for the Warlock to do all the work.
And that is all you need to know about what happens if you clear your head and drink the potion from True Soul Gut in Baldur’s Gate 3. Check out other interesting BG3 guides and articles:
