Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader – Chapter 3 Companions Locations

Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader - Chapter 3 Companions Locations

Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader is full of plot twists and unexpected turns of events as you see yourself betrayed by the most unexpected people at the worst possible times. As Chapter 3 starts and you explore the far reaches of the galaxy, the Drukhari manage to capture you and make you stand a fake trial where you do your best to ruin their fun. At the end of the debacle, the Rogue Trader will be in the worst state they have found themselves in the whole story, without any of their companions. In this guide we will show you where to find the location of the missing companions of Chapter 3 in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader and how to help them escape the Dark City.

Where to Find the Companions in Chapter 3 in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader

Chapter 3 starts with the player getting captured by the Drukhari and thrown into the pits of the Dark City. Ignoring the fact that your Rogue Trader is suffering from dozens of problems, you have also lost all of your companions and need to save them to complete the Reunion quest.

To start finding your companions in Chapter 3 in the Dark City in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, you will first need to head west and find Malice. After getting some medical help from him, you can start looking for everyone.

Yrliet Location

Yrliet is the easiest to find companion in Commorragh, since you just need to exit the Pit and walk a bit until you find her in the middle of a conflict. If you don’t end her life, she will come back to serve you.

If you didn’t bring Pasqal, Abelard, or Argenta with you on this quest, we recommend sparing Yrliet, since you will otherwise have to fight by yourself for the start of Chapter 3.

Pasqal Location

Walking to the south-east, toward the entrance to the Mangled Sector, you will find Pasqal standing flat on the ground there. Talk to him and convince him not to end his own life.

Even if he removes the xenotech from his body, he will survive with a temporary debuff, so just avoid picking any of the options that spell out that he will die.

Abelard and Argenta Location

Both Abelard and Argenta can be found and recruited back into the party in Chapter 3 inside the Mangled Sector. Argenta will stand with the Commissar’s crew, in the eastern part of the Mangled Sector.

To find Abelard, head to the north-west and pass the Athletics check to get to the platform there. You will need to convince Abelard to snap out of his delusions either passing a check or using a syringe which you can find in the main area of Commorragh.

Jae Location

To find and recruit Jae Heydari in the Dark City of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader you will need to fight and win your first Arena battle. This will happen exactly after defeating either the Commissar or Malice.

After the battle is done, head north-east toward the entrance to the Anatomical Opera and you will find Jae trying to get inside to talk to Haemoncolus Tervantias.

Cassia, Idira, and Heinrix Location

Cassia, Idira, and Heinrix are all held prisoner by Tervantias the Archmachinator, due to their connection to the veil, and you can only release one of them by talking to him and begging on your knees.

Depending on who you chose, the stairs to the west or east will appear and you can proceed to rescue them.

Unfortunately, they will be going through a bit of a mental breakdown, which means you will have to pass a few checks. However, after that, everything should be fine.

If you have other prisoners captive here then you will need to win the fight against Marazhai in the Arena and then come back to free the rest.

And that is all you need to know about the locations of the lost companions in Chapter 3 of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader. Check out other interesting Rogue Trader guides and articles:
