V Rising prides itself in amazing boss battles and chilling chases for your targets. There are V Blood bosses that like to roam around and elude you, and there are some that just wait for you in their mighty base to see if you would like to challenge them. Maja the Dark Savant is one of those V Blood bosses in V Rising that will just patiently wait for you in her lab and actually stand still while you approach her. Maja the Dark Savant Location in V Rising
You can find the location of Maja the Dark Savant at the Forbidden Tower in V Rising, in the North-Eastern part of the Dunley Farmlands. She will be waiting at the top of the hill, right inside the building.
There are absolutely no guards around the Forbidden Tower, so you will just have to walk up the hill until you reach the top. When you enter the building, you will find Maja the Dark Savant doing research at her table.
She won’t attack you if you don’t pass the table she is doing research at and get right next to her. Maja is relatively passive in her Forbidden Tower. It looks like she can’t wait for you to defeat her and get the Study back at your castle.
How to Defeat Maja the Dark Savant in V Rising
Maja the Dark Savant is a controller-type V Blood boss in V Rising, as most of her attacks aren’t extremely powerful. Her most dangerous attack is that she can summon a lot of Ink Demons.
In her first phase, she will have two attacks that she uses. Maja will either summon an Ink Demon that will attack you or send four paper projectiles toward you that are easy to dodge.
Once you deal enough damage to leave her at around 50% health, she will teleport to the side and send enough paper projectiles to cover the whole lab. You will have to use one of your dash attacks to avoid this attack.
From this point onward, she will move twice as fast and summon two Ink Demons each time she brings them to the battlefield. When she isn’t summoning Ink Demons, Maja is running around the lab, trying to avoid you.
Once you get too close to her during this phase, she will prepare a huge explosion that will damage you, push you back, and summon around 4-5 Ink Demons that will all pile up on you.
She will do this attack often in this phase, so it can be hard to handle this on your own. In general, it might be best to bring some friends for this battle.
Maja the Dark Savant – Rewards
When you defeat Maja the Dark Savant for the first time in V Rising, you will get these rewards:
- Veil of Illusion → Illusion Spell Dash.
- Study → Structure that allows you to learn how to craft new armor, structures, recipes, and many other items.
- Scroll → Recipe. The Scroll is an item that allows you to learn how to make new things at the Study.
