In this game, your paranormal investigations can take a haunting turn when using a cursed item like the Voodoo Doll. Want to learn more about it and how to handle it (with caution)? Then you’ve come to the right place. In this complete guide to Voodoo Doll, we’ll tell you how to use it and all the locations where you can find it in Phasmophobia.
How to Use the Voodoo Doll in Phasmophobia
You can use the Voodoo Doll in Phasmaphobia by holding it and hitting the Right Mouse Button (default). Once a pin goes in, it forces the ghost to interact. These ghostly interactions help you gather ghost evidence and figure out the ghost type. Look for interactions such as:
- Touching doors and light switches
- Throwing objects
- Ghost-writing
- Ghost visible through D.O.T.S
As per the description on the objective board, the Voodoo Doll makes the ghost angry when used. This means that out of 10 pins if you’re unlucky, you’ll push the heart pin, which causes a cursed hunt. You lose 5% of your sanity with each use, and when the heart pin is used, you lose 10% sanity.
A cursed hunt also starts if you push the pin while your sanity was below 5-10% the pressed pin would drain. In this case, all the remaining pins get pushed in indicating the start of a cursed hunt.
