Baldur’s Gate 3: All Legendary Items in Act 1

Baldur’s Gate 3 All Legendary Items in Act 1 Silver Sword of the Astral Plane

There is a lot of interesting loot you can get in Bladur’s Gate 3, ranging from wild animal eggs to Legendary weapons used by the gods. Though you will likely pick up a lot of items throughout your journey, players are most likely to want to get one or two of the Legendary items that exist in the game as fast as possible. Since there are only 23 Legendary items in Baldur’s Gate 3, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the few you can get in Act 1. So, in this guide, we will tell you which Legendary items you can get in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3 and how to get them.

How to Get All Legendary Items in Act 1 of BG3

There are only 2 Legendary items you can get in Act 1 of BG3:

  • Silver Sword of the Astral Plane
  • The Blood of Lathander

How to Get the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane in Act 1 of BG3

The Silver Sword of the Astral Plane is the weapon that Kith’rak Voss, the Githyanki knight with the red dragon, uses. However, if you’ve seen the cutscene with him at the bridge, you would know that he instantly leaves after talking to you.

Well, if you want to get the Legendary Silver Sword of the Astral Plane in Act 1 of BG3, instead of in Act 3 when it would be normal, you will need to sneak up next to him while Invisible and use Command Drop or Disarming Attack on him to make him drop the Legendary weapon.

The moment you get into combat, a cutscene will start where he will threaten you, resulting in a fight. The moment the battle starts, he will leave on his dragon, leaving the Silver Sword of the Astral Plane behind, for you to pick up.

There are two things you can do now: either defeat the Githyanki patrol or let the character that made Kith’rak Voss drop the sword pick it up and die. When you revive the character later in camp they will still have the sword in their inventory.

Command Drop has a very low chance of success (9%). You can just create a hireling at the camp from Withers to make a Battlemaster Fighter with Disarming Attack (25% chance to drop weapon), who you can just dismiss after getting the sword. You can see exactly how to do this in the video below:
