Roots of Pacha is a life simulator game that will allow you to make your own character and lead a clan through the stone age. Though this might seem hard at first, you will slowly realize what works and what doesn’t and start making a lot of contributions to your clan. As you progress, you will also slowly befriend some of the characters more than others. Out of all the people that you will meet, only 12 of them will be romanceable. How Dating and Marriage Work in Roots of Pacha – How to Romance a Bachelor/Bachelorette
In Roots of Pacha, you will slowly gain friendship with all of the NPCs just by talking to them and giving them gifts. The quickest way to start a romance with one of the characters is by giving them gifts.
All characters have flowers next to their name which represent your level of friendship with them. Platonic friendships will be shown with a yellow flower 
, while characters that are romanceable will have pink flowers 
next to their names.
Once you reach 6 flowers with one of the romanceable characters, you can start dating each other. The character will ask you to talk and will bluntly ask you to form a couple. You can date all of the characters at the same time, with no repercussions, and gender doesn’t matter.
Once you reach 10 flowers with one of the romanceable, they will ask you if you want to form a union together (get married). It will take 4 days for the marriage to happen.
If you marry a character in Roots of Pacha, that NPC will move into your house and follow their normal schedule as if nothing changed. Your spouse can also give you meals in the morning if you talk to them while they are cooking and will also occasionally give you gifts.
