Roots of Pacha is a fun farming simulator based on the stone age. Though you might personally have to discover what an axe or pickaxe is, the journey with your clan is extremely entertaining. One of the tasks you will have in front of you will be the need for Hardwood. However, to get Hardwood in Roots of Pacha, you will have to first upgrade your tools and look a bit at the trees around you. This resource is similar to normal Wood but it is used for more advanced ideas, items, and buildings. Since this item will become vital in the game the longer you progress, here is how to get Hardwood in Roots of Pacha.
How to Get Hardwood in Roots of Pacha
To get Hardwood in Roots of Pacha, you will need to cut sturdy trees with at least a Flint Axe. There are two types of trees next to your home (The Land) in the clan, white ones and sturdier, brown ones.
If you cut down a white, birch tree, you will only get Wood. However, if you cut down one of the sturdier, brown trees, you will get Hardwood. You can see exactly how one of the Hardwood trees looks in the image at the top of this article.
To get the Flint Axe, you will need to first collect Flint from the Cave. You can do this after you complete the Glyptodon Totem and advance to the next Cave room.
You can also find trees that give Hardwood in the Savannah. There will also be two types of trees on that map. The bigger ones are the only trees that will give you Hardwood. If you aren’t sure which ones are the Hardwood trees, just cut one down and see what resource you get.
