In Fire Emblem Engage, you can only unlock and recruit cool characters by doing side quests. Until now, you have recruited most of your companions either through the storyline or through paralogues. This time, you will have to do it in a chapter battle. The third character in Fire Emblem Engage that you will have the ability to recruit, and also to miss out on, is Jade. Here is how you can recruit Jade in Fire Emblem Engage.

If she is defeated by the Corrupted, you won’t be able to recruit her. Make sure to rewind if that happens. If she is defeated after being recruited and you are playing on Casual, there will be no repercussions.

Jade is an Axe Armor / Armored. This is a class we haven’t seen until now which makes her a really good addition to the team. As long as she doesn’t fight enemies that have anti-armor weapons, nobody can ever hurt her.
