Pathologic 3 puts players in the shoes of the ambitious beyond his capabilities doctor Danil Dankovsky. While simply trying to survive from day to day is the player’s biggest obstacle in this game, it isn’t exactly the behavior of a good doctor. If you want to truly save this town, you’re going to need to treat your patients. While your orderlies are fine with diagnosing those who has the Sand Plague and nothing else, a big part of your job in this game will be to examine those who have other illnesses in order to develop a vaccine that can counter the main plague threatening everyone. If you fail to diagnose someone correctly, you’ll have no choice but to either move on or try the day over again from scratch. If you are having trouble diagnosing your patients and need some assistance, here is a guide detailing every diagnosis in Pathologic 3.

Every Patient Diagnosis in Pathologic 3

While you will be given a tutorial on how to diagnose patients on Day 3, you won’t start receiving daily patients until Day 5 and only IF you made sure to open a hospital during previous days. Below is a list of every patient in the game and every correct diagnosis. If you perform every diagnosis correctly in a single day you will be able to develop a vaccine which will last until the next day.

Day 3

Khulan

Examining Khulan’s skin shows that she has itchy skin and insect bites. She also has a rapid heart pulse and feels weak. these are all symptoms of Lymphotonitis so diagnose her with that.

Day 4

Luta

Starting on Day 4 you will have multiple patients to examine each day at the hospital. Most of the time they will have different diagnoses from each other. The first patient on this day, Luta, is suffering from a fever, hematomas, and sever pallor. So we’ll need to diagnose her with Anemic Vasculopathy.

Finch

Now while you may be tempted to diagnose Finch with Hepatitis because of his yellowing skin, that is merely the result of a chemical burn. Instead his main symptoms appear to be a headache, rapid pulse, and eczema. Which means that we have to diagnose him with Burning Fever

Filat

Unlike the other patients, you’re going to need to investigate Filat’s home in the middle of a plague district in order to learn more about this condition. After traveling there and speaking to both Filat’s neighbor and the other resident there, return to the hospital and speak to him one more time before delivering your diagnoses. Now this man is showing a LOT of symptoms. Weakness, Vein damage, Skin Redness, Nausea and vomiting, Headache, Fever, Bulimia, AND Hydrophobia. While no one illness has all of these symptoms most of them can be found under Nephropathia Epidemica, so diagnose him with that.

Day 5

Bobok

Time for our first patient of the day. Bobok has Lip Lesions, Headache, Loss of Coordination, a Fever, and tragically Memory lapses. These are all symptoms of Burning Fever so simply give that as your first diagnosis.

Oktay

This patient is quite a nasty looking one. His skin is infected with the Stone Disease and he has symptoms of Photophobia and a Slow Pulse. Because all of these fall under Stoneskin, diagnose him with that. Though you probably could have figured that out just from looking at him.

Sharp

Before examining his body, hold down the Q button on your keyboard and observe that Sharp is coughing. Mark that down in your casebook and then speak to him again after examining his body. Take a sample from Sharp’s lungs for your microscope to further break down what his symptoms are.

After getting that sample we can get a full picture of his symptoms. In addition to that cough he also has difficulty breathing, chest pain, and weakness. While there are multiple illnesses this could potentially be be, the correct answer in this case is Consumption

Day 6

Burdock

There will be four patients on the sixth day. We’ll start with Burdock as he is the first one written in your Casebook. Burdock has Red Eyes, a Fever, a Headache, and a Cough but we can’t make a diagnosis from this information alone. Take a sample from his Gastrointestinal Tract and examine it to also learn he has a Lack of Appetite. With this we can diagnose him with Influenza.

Grouse

Grouse is suffering from Abdominal Pain, Nausea and Vomiting, Heartburn, a Rash, and Geopahgia. So diagnose her with Steppe Gastrodermal Fever.

Gannet

Next we’re going to examine Gannet. She has some Chest Pains, feels Weak, and has some Visual Impairment. There are two illnesses she could have, so select Bradycardia for the correct diagnosis.

Hardman

Our final patient of the day will give some delusional rantings about his own scientific breakthroughs, but all that matters for your examination is that he has Chest Pains, Difficulty Breathing, Vein Damage, and of course Hallucinations. These are all symptoms of Ink Syndrome so diagnose him with that.

Day 7

Emilia

This day will have only three patients to examine. The first of which, Emilia, is suffering from Weakness, Visual Impairment, Photophobia, Dystrophy, and Bulimia. The correct diagnosis for her is Bonkowski’s Fever

Martin

The next patient, Martin, is suffering from Diarrhea, Lip Lesions, Loss of Coordination and he has Difficulty breathing. These are all symptoms of Pulmomucous Syndrome, so make your diagnosis right away.

Tuutei

To close off the day, let’s take a look at the third patient, Tuutei. She has very visible vein damage as well as an Irregular Pupil Shape and Darkened Eye Capillaries, but to learn more you’re going to need to grab a sample from her eye and examine it. With these symptoms observed it’s very easy to diagnose her with Ink Syndrome.

Day 8

Crow

This is a day with four different patients to examine. We’ll start with Crow as he is the first written in your casebook. He is suffering from a Sore Throat, Joint Pain, Rapid Pulse, and Ichthyosis. These are all symptoms of Steppe Dryness.

Astrid

Next up is Astrid. You’ll immediately notice the red spots all over her body as well as her fever and headache. She has the Measles, make your diagnosis and move on to the next patient.

Petrel

Up third we’ve got Petrel. Speak to him and examine his body to notice some Yellowing of the Skin, Nausea and Vomitting, and Eczema. This will allow you to easily narrow down his diagnoses as Hepatitis.

Tawpie

Our last patient of the day is Tawpie. She is showing symptoms of a Headache, Weakness, Fever, and Insect Bites. However in order to get a full grasp on her situation we must travel to her home and then to the Steppe in order to check her living conditions. Once you have, add Ulcers to your diagnosis and declare she has Tularemia.

Day 9

Aristarkh

This is another four patient day. Going in order from the casebook we’ll start with diagnosing Aristarkh. He is suffering from Nausea and vomiting, Dystrophy, Stone Skin, Yellowing of the skin. These are all symptoms of Hepatits

Sakh Man

Not too often you get to see an herb bride in the hospital. What makes this more shocking is that she might be the most forthcoming patient about her symptoms in the entire game. She says she is having trouble with Headaches, Hallucinations, Memory Lapses, and Photophobia. Further examination of her body also shows clear Vein Damage, which makes it very easy to diagnose her with Twyrine Syndrome.

Patchwork

This next patient, Patchwork, doesn’t have the plague and is asking for papers to leave town despite clearing being sick with something else. Quick examination of his Skin Redness, Red Eyes, and Fever shows he has Measles. Would a doctor let this man leave town?

Sergant Drone

Finally we’re going to examine the man from the military. He is having troubles with Headaches, a Fever, and clearly has Red Eyes and Sever Pallor. Diagnose him with Anemic Vasculopathy to close out this day of hospital work

Day 10

Little

Day 10 begins as bleak as it could. The hospital is empty except for one patient: your own assistant Little. He has red eyes, difficulty breathing, Ictchyosis, and dystrophy. These are all symptoms of Serpent Syndrome

Kira

As far as I can tell, Kira will not appear during your first attempt of Day 10, you’ll need to repeat the day after properly diagnosing Little to see her. She suffers from a fever, sever pallor, redness around the nose, and a cough. Diagnose her with Acute Bronchopathy and prepare to say farewell to your hospital.
