Palworld offers many different ways to utilize your Pals in all aspects of the game. These utilities include but are not limited to base management, resource production and storage, and combat ability. One of the more important ways is as mounts which allows you to traverse and explore the game’s world at a faster speed. Having a reliable mount will open up the player to new Pals, dungeons, boss fights, resources, and more secrets to discover. Certain flying Pals can also serve as mounts, allowing you to traverse the map near-limitlessly and access endgame locations such as the volcanic and ice mountain biomes as well as the Wildlife Sanctuary areas to spot extremely rare Pals. This guide will break down the best flying mount in Palworld in terms of accessibility and reliability.

Best Flying Mount in Palworld

The best flying mount would easily have to go to Nitewing based on its accessibility to all players and its reliability into mid-game. Furthermore, Nitewing is also a great asset to your party for its combat ability.

Nitewing is one of the first flying Pals you encounter and is commonly found all over the map and is mostly active during the day. Some recommended locations to spot Nitewing would be the areas around the Grassy Behemoth Hills and the Rayne Syndicate Tower Great Eagle Statues.

On top of having great flying stamina for technically a starting mount, Nitewing is also very viable in combat due to its mobility and moveset so it will not feel like you’re taking up a Party Slot just for the sake of a flying mount.

Unlocking Nitewing’s flying capability is very simple as Nitewing’s Saddle can be unlocked at level 15 through the technology tab. After crafting Nitewing’s Saddle via the Pal Gear Workbench, you will immediately be able to use Nitewing as a mount by activating its Partner Skill.

And that is all you need to know about the best flying Pal in Palworld. Check out other interesting guides and articles:
