One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Releases Uta Teaser Trailer

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 Releases Uta Teaser Trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment and Koei Tecmo have released a teaser for the newest DLC character for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, the most recent Musou game based on Shonen Jump’s popular manga series One Piece.

The newest character to join the Pirate Warriors 4 roster is the popular Uta from One Piece: Film Red. Uta was the break-out character of that film and her popularity has seen her appear on many merchandise and TV commercials, a video game appearance was the next logical step.

Unfortunately, the short teaser for Uta doesn’t showcase her moveset. So we don’t know how this Idol character will fight. We do however see that she will get to wield the spear and armor from the final battle of Film Red.

Uta will be released as part of DLC Character Pack 5 in early 2024, she will be released alongside two other yet-to-be-revealed characters who originated in non-canon One Piece films.

In addition to Uta and the two other DLC characters, DLC Character Pack 5 for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 will include seven songs from One Piece: Film Red performed by the popular singer Ado. This will be the first time a Pirate Warriors 4 DLC has added new songs to the game’s soundtrack.

At the end of the trailer, we get to see Uta be added to the list of DLC characters as the first character in Pack 5. Unfortunately, this list still gives us no info on what Pack 6 will be. As the name of the DLC and the theme of the characters to be added to it have yet to be revealed.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is currently available to purchase on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Serie S|X, Nintendo Switch, and on PC via Steam. The game is planned to be supported until the end of 2024 with there currently being no plans for the Pirate Warriors 5.
