On August 11, 2026, GameMill Entertainment and Paramount Games revealed a new DLC character for their 2024 Beat ’em Up; Nicktoons and the Dice of Destiny. This new character is Invader Zim, from the 2001 cartoon of the same name.
Invader Zim joins the action RPG’s expanding roster of Nickelodeon heroes, bringing his signature alien technology, unpredictable inventions and chaotic combat style to the battlefield. Players can harness Zim’s unique abilities in fast-paced real-time battles, opening new strategies and team combinations throughout the adventure.
Zim has long been a frequent mainstay character in various Nickelodeon crossover games, appearing in both modern titles like the Nickelodeon All Stars Brawl series and classic titles like Nicktoon and the Globs of Doom. His appearance in this title, even if it is as a DLC character, felt inevitable.
In addition to adding a new playable character, this DLC pack will be adding a new game mode to Nicktoons & the Dice of Destiny; The Pillar of Lost Possibilities. This mode will launch endless waves of enemies at the player, which will progressively get harder and harder. However, the player themselves will also grow stronger with each wave they survive.
This new mode, like the main game, will be playable in multiplayer with up to 4 players via local couch co-op.
The DLC also introduces the Pillar of Lost Possibilities, a brand-new endless horde-survival mode that challenges players to battle relentless waves of increasingly powerful enemies. As each wave raises the stakes, players must master their characters’ abilities and adapt their tactics to survive as long as possible in the game’s ultimate replayable challenge.
The Zim’s Tower of DOOM DLC will be launching today on all platforms. Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny is currently available to purchase for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series S|X systems.
