At the start of My Time at Sandrock, the newly recruited Builder will have to craft a Crane Lift for the Eufaula Salvage. This task might seem relatively easy when taken, but you will slowly realize that, for some reason, you are not getting the right items for the job. One of the items you will need to use to build the lift is Thick Rope. However, even if you open the Worktable, it seems like the rope isn’t available to craft. So, how can you get Thick Rope in My Time at Sandrock? Here is exactly how to do it.
How to Get Thick Rope in My Time at Sandrock
To get Thick Rope in My Time at Sandrock, you will need to unlock the recipe and craft it at the Worktable. To unlock the recipe for the Thick Rope, you will need to head over to the Commerce Guild and purchase from the counter inside the recipe for around 20 Gols.
Once you do this, you can head back to your house and use the Worktable. You will now see that you can craft 1 Thick Rope in exchange for 4 Plant Fibers. Players can instantly craft a lot of Thick Ropes and they all can be sold for 4 Gols per item.
The easiest way to get a lot of Plant Fiber is to use your Axe on the various bushes around the house. The Bugseed, Sand Grass, and Sweetvetch are the best bushes you can cut down, since they have really low HP and they always yield Plant Fiber for you to collect.
What to Do with Thick Rope in My Time at Sandrock
Unfortunately, there are only two items you can craft using Thick Rope in My Time at Sandrock:
- Worktable
- Crane Lift
- Basic Sandfish Trap
If you want to make a second Worktable, you will need 1 Thick Rope. For the starting quest to build a Crane Lift, you will need 6 Thick Ropes.
There is nothing else you can do with this item in My Time at Sandrock and it is incredibly cheap, so you should never craft it unless you need it, not even for money.
