My Time at Sandrock is a beautiful life sim that will require players to roleplay as a builder in the small town of Sandrock. Though this game looks really nice and plays relatively well, screen tearing can cause most players to get annoyed with the game. The most common way to fix screen tearing for games such as My Time at Sandrock is to simply turn on Vertical Sync. However, for some reason, even if you turn it on it seems to not work at all. Well, we have a few fixes we have discovered which worked to fix our game’s graphics, so here is how you can fix the V Sync not working in My Time at Sandrock.

How to Fix V Sync Not Working in My Time at Sandrock

If you’ve opened the Graphics settings and have enabled the Vertical Sync option, the screen tears should normally fix themselves. However, we have personally seen how the V Sync doesn’t work in My Time at Sandrock, so here are a few ways you can fix this.

Depending on your graphics card, you can force the V Sync to work outside of the settings in the game. Here is how to do it for either using the Nvidia Control Panel or the AMD Radeon Software:

Force V Sync on Nvidia

  1. Click the Start button or Windows icon.
  2. Type NVIDIA Control Panel into the search bar and open it.
  3. Click Manage 3D settings.
  4. Under “I would like to use the following 3D settings,” scroll down until you see Vertical sync.
  5. Select Vertical sync to choose On from the drop-down menu.

If you just want to force V Sync just for My Time at Sandrock, go to step 4 and press the “Program Settings” button. Then, find the sandrock.exe program, select it, and choose the On for the Vertical sync setting down below.

If My Time at Sandrock is open, make sure to restart the game after you do this.

Force V Sync on AMD

  1. Click the Start button or Windows icon.
  2. Type AMD Radeon Software into the search bar and open it.
  3. Click the cog wheel in the top right.
  4. Click the Graphics tab.
  5. Under Wait for vertical refresh rate, choose Always on.

If My Time at Sandrock is open, make sure to restart the game after you do this.

And that is all you need to know about how to fix V Sync in My Time at Sandrock. Check out other interesting My Time at Sandrock guides and articles:
