After going through at least one playthrough of Medieval Dynasty, most farmers have realized that cave mines are extremely important. Since resources such as Copper, Tin, Iron, and Salt are all available inside one of these hidden mines across the map that are usually very far from settlement.
Since players have a tendency to build their settlements in random locations that look pretty, it would be a good idea to know where to find all of these cave locations and mine all the resources inside of them, even if it is The Valley map or The Oxbow.
Generally, mines can be spotted by finding a cave entrance in the middle of nowhere, but the map is huge and this method isn’t very efficient. So, we have created two interactive maps to show the locations of all mines in both of the livable environments in Medieval Dynasty, to help you find them easily at any time.
Where Are the Mines in Medieval Dynasty?
If you don’t want to “cheat” and want to find the caves yourself, then the easiest way to find a mine in the game is to keep an eye out for bears. Around 90% of the caverns in both the Valley and Oxbow are protected by one or two bears.
Traveling the map will reveal players locations where they can find all animals. Opening that map mode will generally show where to find any cave entrance in the region.
The Valley Map Mine Locations
- There’s a mine northeast of Branica, northwest of Baranica.
- There’s another cave south of Lesnica.
- There’s one northeast of Jezerica, in the center of the mountains.
- There’s another mine on the road between Gostovia and Jezerica, right in the middle.
- There’s a fifth one exactly to the east of Hornica, on the southeastern corner of the map.

The Oxbow Map Mine Locations
- There’s a mine in Skauki, in the northern part of the city, the only cave with minable Iron.
- There’s a cave southwest of Ostoya, close to the lake.
- There’s another one next to Ostoya, but to the northeast.
- There’s one right next to Piastovia, to the east.
- There’s another mine west of Piastovia and north of Skauki, which you can find by following the road from the lake there to the northwest.
- There’s one east of Klonika, close to the swamp.
- There’s one to the far east, north of Ostoya.
In the Oxbow there’s only one cave that provides Iron ore before building a mine at the location, which is the one at Skauki. Otherwise, you can visit all the other caves to get Copper ore or Tin ore for your tools.
Do Mines Replenish in Medieval Dynasty?
The ores inside the mines are an endless source of resources since they respawn every time the season passes. So, if the player hasn’t messed with the settings, the caves’ ore will replenish every 3 days.
This is why mines are an amazing source of money in the game, since the valuable ore can be used to create all sorts of tools, and all you need to do craft and use a pickaxe.
And that is all you need to know about the mine locations in Medieval Dynasty. Check out other interesting Medieval Dynasty guides and articles:
