There are many important choices that you will have to make as Sean in Life is Strange 2. One of them will be to steal the camping gear in Episode 2 from the gas station, after knocking out the owner. This choice seems to be relatively important, and will actually have a big impact on Daniel in the long run. So, should you steal the camping gear or leave it behind in Life is Strange 2? You can find the answer below.
Steal Camping Gear or Leave in Life is Strange 2
In Life is Strange 2, all of your morally questionable choices will have an effect on Daniel’s personality. Each time you do something illegal, or mean, Daniel will learn from it.
If you decide to steal the gear, instead of leaving, in Life is Strange 2, Daniel will end up later in the episode stealing a hula girl figurine from a friendly stranger. This will not be the only effect of immoral choices, but this is the first one the player will see.
Every time Sean steals something in the first two episodes, a hidden counter increases, which will signify Daniel’s immorality. For every stolen item, this counter will increase by 1.
Once this counter reaches 3, Daniel will end up stealing the dancer figurine from Brody at the end of the episode. The choice to steal the camping gear will increase the immorality counter by 3, making Daniel instantly steal the figurine, even if you haven’t stolen anything else.
Though having just 3 immorality won’t make Daniel remain immoral forever, it will have an impact in the long run when you will have to face all your choices in one of the Life is Strange 2 endings.
Regardless of what you choose, Sean will make a makeshift tent even if you don’t get the camping gear later in the episode.
And that is all you need to know about if you should steal the camping gear or leave in Life is Strange 2. Check out other interesting guides and articles:
