One of the more complicated puzzles that I’ve stumbled into while playing Indiana Jones And The Great Circle was the dragon statue puzzle. You have a lot of running around and a lot of turning around to get to the bottom of this. Since you probably have already spent too much time on the puzzle, here’s the exact quick solution you can follow to get further in the The Stolen Cat Mummy Quest.
Preparing the Statues
- Ascend the scaffolding to the left of the fountain.
- Retrieve the dragon claw at the top.
- Continue climbing and insert the claw into the broken statue section.
- Rotate the statue rightward to face its counterpart.
- Use Indy’s whip to swing across to the opposite statue.
- Turn this statue leftward to face the first one.
Activating the Fountain Mechanism
- Descend to the fountain level.
- Employ Indy’s whip to pull the central fountain statue.
- As the fountain shifts, it reveals an internal chamber.
- Locate the rotation bar inside to turn the internal area.
Solving the Water Puzzle
- Rotate the internal area to expose a new puzzle.
- Use the whip on the pulley to fill the bucket-holding statue with water.
- Push this statue towards the child statue to pour water over it.
- This action will cause the internal area to rotate again.
Tackling the Ring Puzzle
- Rotate the bar once more to reveal the opposite side of the internal area.
- You’ll now see three rotatable rings and a boat statue.
- Ring Rotation Sequence:
- Turn the outermost ring twice.
- Rotate the innermost ring twice.
- Pull the right pulley with Indy’s whip.
- Again, turn the outermost ring twice.
- Rotate the middle ring twice.
- Finally, yank the right chain to move the boat statue to the other side.
Once you’re past this part, you’ll be closer to the end of the quest and closer to treasure!
