The Himalayas is one of the shorter parts of the game, with not many puzzles to rummage through. Still, they managed to stick one in that isn’t too hard, but that requires a bit of critical thinking. Since not all of us want to go through this “critical thinking” process, here’s how you can solve the Captain’s Cipher yourself in Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, and the code for the door at the end, in case you just want to skip this.

Check the Clipboards

The first thing you’ll need to do is check the two clipboards on the table with all the frozen soldiers. One of them, the Captain’s Code (JÖGM), will tell you what to do for the first part, and the second one, the Code Table, will tell you the code for the door.

Use the Code Wheels to Spell Out JÖGM

Pick up the Code Wheels one by one and place them on the machine to try to spell out the word JÖGM, from the Captain’s Code. So, pick up one, look for the letter you need, and place it in the right position.

Once all wheels have been placed, pull down the steel casing and start moving the wheels around to spell out JÖGM. Under the code word, you’ll find a different word spelled out: BLUT.

Get the Code

Go back to the Code Table and check it for the word BLUT, which will have the assigned code 3666.

Go to the door, punch in the code, and continue on your quest in the Himalayas.
