Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does a good job of sending us on weird side quests with the most bare minimum clues. The Child’s Play Mystery is one of the weirder ones, as it just gives you pieces of papers with drawn compasses on them. You just need to follow the directions, and not get lost along the way. In this guide I will show you exactly where to pick up all of the messages and where to find the final treasure at the end of this little side quest.
Starting the Mystery
- From the fast travel sign in the village in Sukhothai, head up the stairs and walk straight across the boardwalk.
- Look for a staircase going down into the water on your right.
- Turn around and locate a bottle floating in the water at the bottom of the stairs.
- Pick up the bottle and break it to reveal the First Bottle Message.
Following the Clues
First Bottle Message
- Head up the stairs and turn left.
- Follow the path between buildings into an open area behind the village.
- Walk past the rice farms towards a small, open hut with two people inside.
- Look for a slanted tree on the right side of the hut.
- Use your whip to grab the bottle from the tree branches.
Second Bottle Message
- Return to the village, leaving the rice fields.
- Look for the tallest bridge up the stairs to your left.
- Jump off the left side of the bridge and swim forward.
- Find a boulder with a glass bottle on top of it.
Third Bottle Message
- Swim under the bridge and turn left.
- Head towards the south village gate.
- Walk around the gate to the right to find a boulder.
Completing the Mystery
- Look behind the boulder near the south village gate.
- You’ll find a small box containing two items:
- An adventure book called “Jumbo Shove”
- The Phra Ruang Statuette
- Pick up the Phra Ruang Statuette to complete the Child’s Play mystery
