To explore a large part of Vatican City, the player will need to get their hands on the Blackshirt Disguise to pretend to be part of the fascists group controlling big chunks of the map. The first thing you need to know about this item is that it’s mission-locked, which means you can’t get it until you start a specific quest. Here’s where you can find the Blackshirt Disguise and Key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and what you need to do to actually gain access to them.
How to Obtain the Blackshirt Disguise
- Progress Through the Main Story:
- The Blackshirt Uniform only becomes accessible during the “Stolen Cat Mummy” mission.
- You must first escape from the Tower of Nicholas V’s Underworld and meet Gina Lombardi at a balcony in the Apostolic Palace.
- Location of the Disguise:
- After meeting Gina and witnessing a German airship docking above St. Peter’s Basilica, head to a zipline near the chapel above the Excavation Yard.
- Use the zipline to cross into the Borgia Courtyards. Turn around and locate a chain-link fence with a small gap at its base.
- Crawl through the gap, drop down into a courtyard, and defeat three Blackshirt thugs near a Washing Tent.
- The Blackshirt Uniform is folded neatly on a stool next to a barrel in front of a tent in this courtyard.
Using the Blackshirt Disguise
- Benefits:
- The disguise allows you to enter restricted military areas (marked in red on your map), such as:
- Blackshirt Barracks
- Belvedere Courtyard Restricted Area
- Museum Wing
- Apostolic Palace
- Excavation Yard.
- It includes a truncheon weapon and provides access to an Underground Boxing Ring where you can earn money and purchase exclusive items.

- Blackshirt Captains can detect your disguise if you remain in their line of sight for too long. Maintain distance from them.
The Blackshirt Key
- How to Obtain:
- The Blackshirt Key is included with the uniform when you pick it up.
- Key Uses:
- The key opens locked doors marked with warning signs, including:
- A door at the Blackshirt Barracks.
- A door outside the Chapel of the Condemned in Castel Sant’Angelo.
