One of the most engaging and expansive minigames in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is Queen’s Blood. A virtual card game with nearly a hundred cards and several different game modes. One of those modes is a puzzle mode where you are given a specific deck of only a few cards and told to win with it. Many of these puzzles are extremely difficult but the rewards are great as you’ll almost always receive a powerful card. A Kingly Clash Guide for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
In order to pass the A Kingly Clash puzzle in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth you’ll need to place specific cards on the board in the exact right order. You will always start this puzzle with two Zi cards, a Tonberry King, a Mindflayer, and two Deathwheels. Follow the steps below exactly and you’ll just barely win.
Turn 1: Place one of your Zu cards in the bottom row panel second from the left.
Turn 2: Take your second Zu card and place it in the top row on the second panel from the left.
Turn 3: Place the Tonberry King card in the rightmost slot in the middle row, placing him directly in the center of the board.
Turn 4: Then take your Mindflayer card and place It into the final remaining panel in the middle row of the board.
Turns 5&6: Finish the game off with two identical moves, placing your two Deathwheel cards in the last two remaining panels on the board.
Making all of these moves may seem foolish at first as your cards will all be destroyed, however, the Tonberry King card you are given for this puzzle is special, as the Tonberry King gains 2 power whenever any of your cards are destroyed. Thus, by the time the final turn arrives, it’ll have such a major boost of power you’ll win with a single row on the board!
After making the final move, you should win the match with a score of 16 compared to your opponent’s 14. Winning the Kingly Clash puzzle will reward you with the ability to put the Tonberry King card into your main deck!
