One of the coolest parts of Demon Tides is the sheer amount of outfits the player can unlock and wear during their journey. Nearly every island in the game has at least one outfit or hairstyle that Beebz can wear. Every costume changes her appearance drastically and when combined with how you can dye Beebz’s hair various colors, there is a surprising amount of freedom in how much you can customize her look. Each time you get a new costume it’s like a whole new world of fashion is now available to you. If you are going for 100% completion or are just curious about what each outfit in the game looks like, feel free to use this guide detailing every outfit in Demon Tides and where to unlock them.
Demon Tides – All Costumes and Where to Unlock Them
Below is a list of every outfit in Demon Tides and which islands they are located on. I have sorted the islands into the order they appear in the game, separating them by area. Because I had to do some backtracking you may notice some inconsistencies in the gear screen screenshots as I went back for some early game costumes later in the game.
NOTE: Every time you unlock a costume you can buy an alternate version of it in the Hub. Because these versions of outfits are always available for purchase after unlocking the base version of the outfit, we have omitted including them in this guide.
Beach Top
The Beach Top outfit can be found in a treasure chest by the Stacked Outpost. You’ll need to swim through all the gold rings fast to unlock the chest.
Delinquent’s Suit
This next outift can be found in a chest in Blessed Optica. It’s located at the very top of the area’s normal platforming segment, NOT the top of the area you acess from the zipline located in the Industrial Nest.
Chum Cosplay
You’ll find the chest for this costume at the Smuggler’s Den island. To open the chest you’ll need to swim through rings around the area in order.
Neon Drip
The Neon Drip outfit is located in a treasure chest at the bottom of the Trading Post area. You’ll need to run through a lot of rings in the area to unlock this chest.
Privateer
This outfit can be found on a chest by the ships in the Merchant’s Fleet. To open it you’ll need to flip a lever that’s hidden behind some rocks by the chest.
Witch’s Garb
You’ll find the Witch’s Garb outfit in Jester’s Leviathan. In order to unlock the chest it’s in you’ll need to break two rock pillar things with bombs which spawn inside of jack-in-a-boxes.
Serker Head-Gear
This costume is located in a chest at the very top of the Red Forest island in the second area.
Undemon
Getting this costume is a task and a half as it is located in a chest on top of The Crooked Crow, but you cannot access this area at first. In order to get to The Crooked Crow you must first find a lightbulb at Dunkelwald and bring said lightbulb to the top of the Northern Lighthouse.
Scientista
Getting this costume can be a bit confusing. On the island of Arctic Eden you will find a tunnel that will lead you to an underground sewer platforming segment that will spit you out on a new island called the Abandoned Barrack upon completion. At this new island enter the building right in front of you, which will immediately begin to sink into deadly goop. Successfully platform your way up the building before it fully sinks and you’ll find a chest containing this costume.
Rainy Getup
This outfit is located in an unlocked chest directly in the center of Frostburg.
Frosty Explorer
Successfully pass through all the rings in the challenge located at the Rotund Ice in the western corner of the game’s second area and you’ll unlock a chest containing this outfit.
Kowai Kawaii
In the southwest section of the game’s second area you’ll find a volcano island called Blazing Bonanza. Successfully run through all the timed rings on this island and you’ll be rewarded with this costume.
Vindra’s Gale
Halfway through the sky island of the Heavenly Aqueducts (which can be accessed via a path on the Subway Ascension), you will find yet another challenge from Mint which requires you to use every one of your animal transformations. Successfully clear this challenge and you will be rewarded this outfit.
Raven Wrestler
Free all of the prisoners in the Avian Gaol and the chest at the top of the area will unlock. Within it is this costume.
Royal Knight
Get to the top of the platforming segment on the Twisting Barrels island in the game’s third area and you’ll find a chest that contains this costume.
Baby Kappernian Suit
Escort the lost baby Kappernian to its momma in TarTar Village to earn this costume.
Gamer Shirt
Escort the lost baby Kappernian to its momma in the underground sewers of Sgudal Ruins to earn this costume.
Escaped Barbarian
Jump down the giant pit of death at the Skull Sceal and defeat all of the enemies at the bottom of it to unlock the chest that contains this costume
Demon Tides – All Head Gear and Where to Unlock Them
Chum Cosplay
You’ll find this head piece, which goes along with the Chum Cosplay outfit, in the only treasure chest in the Industrial Nest area. It is located at the very top of the area.
Delinquent’s Do
This next piece of headgear can be found in a chest in Blessed Optica. The chest it’s in is locked until you step into the teleporter next to it and clear a difficulty platforming challenge.
Privateer
The chest containing this piece of heargear can be found in a cave at the bottom of Runa’s Village
Neon Drip
Neon’s Drips hairstyle to match the outfit can be found in a chest on the Split Islands. To unlock this chest you’ll need to reach the top of the island’s platforming segment and break the crystal that’s leaking red goop everywhere.
Witch’s Hat
This funky little hat can be found in a chest near the top right of Jester’s Juicery
Beach Cap
On one of the tall towers on the island of Vindra’s Mills you will find one of Mr. Mint’s challenge portals. Completing this challenge will unlock this piece of head gear
Rainy Getup
On the island of Dunklewald in the second area there will be platforms that only appear when you get close to them in the darkness. Successfully read the top of this invisible platforming puzzle and you’ll find a chest with this headgear
Undemon
You’ll find this hairstyle on Dunklewald as well. On the island there is an invisible tower surrounding a treasure chest. You can scale this tower using invisible platforms surrounding it. Once you do, jump into it from the entrance at top to get the chest at the bottom.
Kowai Kawaii
This hairstyle is located in a chest at the top of the platforming segment in the Frostown Ruins.
Scientista
Win the drone race at the Lonely Glacier to acquire the hairstyle which matches the Scientista outfit.
Frosty Explorer
Reach the top of the platforming segment in Frosty Bait and you’ll find a treasure chest containing this hairstyle.
Serker Body Gear
During the top-down camera perspective segment of Tridentarius Gearserkium you can find one of Mr. Mint’s challenge portals clear the challenge in it to earn this hairstyle
Vindra’s Gale
This hairstyle is the reward for winning the race on the Subway Ascension island in the game’s third area
Raven Tips
In the bottom right of the game’s third area you’ll find an island frozen in time called Shroomfall. Near the start of Shroomfall you’ll find another Mr. Mint challenge room. Clear it and you’ll earn this hairstyle.
Baby Kappernian Suit
Help the Baby Kappernian find its momma on the island of Flooded Manachiann to unlock this head piece
Royal Knight
On the island of Slocfall there is a gigantic hole. If you can successfully jump down this hole, grab the orb that is within it, and escape the hole all while avoiding ghosts trying to steal the orb from you the game will reward you with this hairstyle.
Escaped Barbarian
Catch the Messenger Mouse near the entrance to the Aurum Mine to unlock this hairstyle.
Gamer Headband
This costume is located in a chest at the end of a very long platforming segment on the Bhaile Ruins Island
