Join us as we explore the consequences of this weighty decision, if you free or kill Lae’Zel, and the impact it can have on the unfolding tale of Baldur’s Gate 3, in this thrilling RPG adventure. Here is what will happen if you attack or free Lae’zel in BG3.

Attack the Tieflings Or Lae’Zel in BG3

As you walk around the beach in Baldur’s Gate 3, near the crash site, you will find Lae’Zel hanging inside a trap and two tieflings wondering what to do with her. You will now have a choice to abandon Lae’Zel or do your best to free her.

There are three ways this encounter could go:

  • You attack the tieflings (with or without Lae’Zel).
  • You attack Lae’Zel.
  • You convince the tieflings to free Lae’Zel.

The only thing that would happen if you kill Lae’Zel in BG3 is that you lose a potential companion and lose out on some potential storylines.

If you get her down from her cage by tricking the tieflings, you will get a choice between attacking them or Lae’Zel. The best choice would be to attack the tieflings and get her as a potential companion to join you for the rest of the journey.

You can also convince the tieflings to leave without a fight, but you will have to personally cut down Lae’Zel from her trap. If you just leave her there, you will never see each other again.

And that is all you need to know about if you should free or kill Lae’Zel in Baldur’s Gate 3. Check out other interesting BG3 guides and articles:
