If you’re trying to complete Pokemon Legends: Z-A to 100 percent, Flabebe can prove to be an annoying obstacle to overcome. Not only does it have five different forms that you’ll need to seek out, but there’s also a Side Mission requiring you to catch each one. To move thigs along for you more smoothly, here’s all the best places you can find Flabebe, including each of its flower forms, in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
How To Start The Many Flowers of Flabebe
The Side Mission that requires catching all of Flabebe’s forms is Side Mission 12, The Many Flowers of Flabebe. You unlock this Side Mission by completing Main Mission 6, Reaching Rank X. After that, you can find an NPC named Vivace on South Boulevard, outside of the Coiffure Clips hair salon. Once you speak with her, she’ll request that you find all five Flabebe flower colors and let her see them.
Thankfully, she’ll request to see each of them individually and from inside your boxes. So you can show her any that you may already have, then find the rest to show her at your own pace. Once you complete this Side Mission, you’ll be rewarded with eight new hair colors, 1,500 Pokedollars, and a Rare Candy.
Flabebe Weather Requirements and Locations
Flabebe can be found under any time and weather conditions, so you won’t have to worry about waiting out any cloudy skies or getting through the night to begin your search. That being said, some Flabebe do spawn in locations specific to certain flower colors, typically near flower beds that match their colors. That’s why I’ll be grouping them by their flower color and sharing the best locations for you to find each one.
Many of the flowerbeds Flabebe spawn near are found on top of Lumiose City’s buildings. While this isn’t the case for each one, it means you’ll have to do a fair deal of climbing, and even Roto-Gliding, to reach some spots Flabebe can be found. So for this guide, you won’t have to worry about needing Roto-Glide or even any Holovators to get to these locations.
Red Flower
Flabebe’s Red Flower Forme will be the most common to find, so you’ll see it in way more places than listed here. You can immediately find several of them in Wild Zone 3, also known as Rouge Plaza. The Wild Zone has red flowers in its center and eastern side, so Flabebe will typically be floating around those parts of the area.
Another easy spot for Red Flower Flabebe is Vert Sector 8’s southwest rooftop, outside Wild Zone 1. To get there, you’ll need to take the zone’s northeast exit, then run around the nearby battle court to get to some ladders. Climb those ladders, and another set of ladders will be at the top, which will lead you to a Floette statue with a Red Flower Flabebe nearby.
Yellow Flower
You can find a Flabebe with a yellow flower on the outer end of the Saison Canal, on South Boulevard. If you’ve been to Restaurant Le Nah, you can fast travel there and run to the end of the canal nearby. There will be red and orange flowers, and a Yellow Flower Flabebe will be near them (as well as a red one if you want two-for-one).
You can also find some Yellow Flower Flabebe on Vert Street, specifically near Nouveau Cafe. If you fast travel to the food truck, there will be patches of grass with some bushes and trees. Some Flabebe will be on the large grass patch in the center (some of the Flabebe will have red flowers too).
Orange Flower
An Orange Flower Flabebe can easily be found on Bleu Street. Just make your way to the Bleu Pokemon Center and run down the street. As you’re running, keep an eye on the flowerbeds beside the staircases on the street’s left-hand side. You can find a Flabebe with an orange flower on the third flowerbed.
Orange Flower Flabebe can also be found on the bottom half of Jaune Sector 9’s rooftops. You can reach the rooftop by climbing up some scaffolding that will be on the left side of the building. You’ll end up on top of another building on the left side of the scaffolding itself. Cross over the nearby timy bridge and then take a quick right turn to find an Orange Flower Flabebe near some bushes (along with a Yellow Flower Flabebe).
Blue Flower
The rooftops southwest in Vert Sector 6 is where you can find a Blue Flower Flabebe. All you need to get up there is a ladder that will be located at the back of the building, near a bridge. The quickest way to get there is by fast traveling to Racine Construction, running through the nearby alley to get up some stairs straight ahead, then taking the bridge on the right. The ladder will be on your left, and a Blue Flower Flabebe will be straight ahead once you reach the top.
White Flower
White Flower Flabebe are the rarest ones, so you’ll see these in the fewest places. But Vert Sector 3 is a great spot to find them. It’s a gated area with Florges statues on the far left and right sides near the entrance, and you’ll find a White Flower Flabebe near each one. You can get there quickly by fast traveling to Cafe Cyclone and just running straight along the Coulant Waterway.
Bleu Sector 6’s rooftops is another spot where you can find it. You can get there by going through Passage de la Felicite from Bleu Street, and climbing the scaffolding that’ll be on the other side until you’re on top of a building. Run left along the roof until you get to a two-way turn. Go left from there and climb the nearby ladder, where a White Flower Flabebe will be waiting.
