One thing you will find after most battles that Wartales will allow you to loot is human remains. These disgusting things will stare at you after every battle on the loot screen and will keep you wondering. When you select to “loot all,” they remain there, teasing you. Well, if you are wondering what those human remains are for and what you can do with them in Wartales, you have come to the right place.

What To Do With Human Remains in Wartales

The only thing you can do with human remains in Wartales is to eat them. Though this might sound gruesome, it is actually a decent way for a mercenary band on the hardest difficulty to get some nourishment.

To eat human remains at the campfire, you will need to first get the Cannibalism Knowledge Compendium trait. After you got it, you can now loot and use the human remains at the camp.

The only problem with this strategy is that you would better use the Knowledge point on something else. Every human corpse will give you 1 food when using it to feed your companions.

However, it is very heavy and will take up a lot of space in your inventory. By considering this, you would be better off just leaving the human remains behind and never getting the Cannibalism order.

If you really want some food, you can get any vegetable from the market for really low prices, and they provide more food than the human remains (2 food).

If you are playing as an outlaw and you can’t really go into towns, you can then consider getting Cannibalism and using the human remains from your many battles.

And that is all you need to know about what to do with human remains in Wartales. Check out other interesting Wartales guides and articles:
