Spy x Anya Operation Memories Second Trailer Showcases Minigames

Bandai Namco and Groove Box Japan’s upcoming “exciting outing adventure” game Spy x Anya: Operation Memories has released a second adorable trailer! This trailer goes over the various gameplay mechanics players can expect in the game.

In this video game adaptation of the popular Shonen Jump manga, players will take control of Anya Forger in her endeavors to make a memory diary with her newfound family of a super spy father and an assassin mother.

The trailer begins by showing off various activities that the player can perform at home such as exercising with Anya’s mother Yor, cutting carrots to make meals, and serving them to Yor’s brother Yuri.

While no UI is shown on screen during these moments it is easy to infer that each of these activities will have an associated minigame based on the character’s movements and how the carrots have blue sections indicating where the player should cut.

Outside of home activities, the player will be able to walk around Anya’s school at Eden College to participate in more minigames such as taking tests, dodgeball, and playing Go Fish with other students.

When not playing minigames the player will be able to customize Anya’s outfit and go on outings with her family to several locations featured in various chapters of the Spy x Family manga.

This trailer also confirmed that various characters from the manga outside of Anya’s family such as Fiona Frost, another spy from WISE, will make appearances throughout the game.

With all of these factors combined, Spy x Anya: Operation Memories is looking to be a fine adaptation of the popular Slice of Life Shonen manga. Fans of the manga and especially Anya Forger as expecting to have a grand time with this game.

Spy x Anya: Operation Memories is expected to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in 2024. Digital Pre-orders are not currently available on any platform.
