After the first week of gameplay, the Major will start giving you daily quests called ‘directives’. It’s important to try and do each one of them, as they pose certain risks for your camp, as well as give substantial rewards that help you upgrade your base. Here is the complete guide for all Directives in Quarantine Zone: The Final Check.
All Directives in Quarantine Zone
Day 7 – Lazarus

- Requirements: Find Solomon.
- Directive: Send to quarantine.
- Reward: 1200$
The first directive is pretty straight forward. All you have to do is check the name of the survivors as you do your regular inspections. If you’re unsure how to do that, press C to view the symptom list and you should see the name on the top left side. Make sure to send survivors according to the instructions. In the case of Solomon, send him to Quarantine.
Day 8 – Wanted: Bruised Face

- Requirements: Find survivor with bruised face.
- Directive: Eliminate target.
- Reward: 1200$
For the second directive, they want you to find someone who intentionally lets zombies into camp. If you want to get the Good Ending and get enough people for your Evacuations, it’s important to get the right person sent to Liquidation. In this case, make sure that the survivor’s bruises are the same kind as the ones shown in the picture above, NOT red bruises or other kinds of skin discoloration.
Day 9 – Brotherhood

- Requirements: Do not confiscate police baton.
- Directive: Target contraband NOT seized.
- Reward: 1200$
For this directive, I wasn’t sure if it’s a bug, or there is no person with a police baton. Or if I simply don’t know what a police baton looks like. But I googled it to check, and indeed I didn’t find any police batons through the survivors’ belongings. As general advice, other than contraband that looks like drugs or things like guns, bullets and maybe sharp weapons, just don’t confiscate anything else. You might lose a few $, but you’ll get more by clearing the directive.
Day 10 – Smuggler’s Run

- Requirements: Find candy bar.
- Directive: Confiscate item.
- Reward: 1200$
This one is pretty self explanatory. I took a picture of what the candy bar looks like, in case you don’t want to confuse it with something else.
Day 11 – Wanted: Saw

- Requirements: Find Saw.
- Directive: Eliminate target.
- Reward: 1200$
You might get several people who have weapons in their bags, but the target is the survivor with two chainsaws: the golden collectible one, and the red one. Confiscate all the contraband for extra money. Send the target to Liquidation.
Day 12 – Skeletons In The Closet

- Requirements: Street name “Ash Bridge Street”, Name starting with “An”
- Directive: Send to quarantine.
- Reward: 1200$
With most directives, it’s important to carefully look at the words in bold and check those specific requirements. In this case, the survivor we’re looking for won’t necessarily have a name that starts with “An”. I replayed this day 3 times, and the first/third time both the street name and name matched, while the second time only the street name matched. Just send anyone who has the street name “Ash Bridge Street” to Quarantine, and you should be safe. If you’re still unsure, send anyone who has the name requirements too.
Day 13 – Wanted: Explosive Expert

- Requirements: Find explosive lemons.
- Directive: Eliminate target.
- Reward: 1200$
The lemon thief will be very obvious. There might be other survivors in possession of green limes but don’t confuse the two. Our target will have a multitude of lemons. You should have the gun by this point, so you can eliminate the target by either shooting them, sending them to Liquidation, or sending them to the Lab. The method of elimination doesn’t really matter.
Day 14 – A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing

- Requirements: Find “How to Quit Smoking”
- Directive: Confiscate item.
- Reward: 1200$
As you go through your normal inspections, you will eventually come across a book with a skull cover saying “How to Quit Smoking”. Confiscate it.
Day 15 – The Kids Aren’t Alright

- Requirements: Find sixteen year old girl.
- Directive: Send to quarantine.
- Reward: 1200$
Check the ages of all the survivors by going to the Distribution menu. On the top left, you get all the info on the survivors, such as age, where they’re from etc. There will probably only be one girl who is 16. Check her symptoms and send her to Quarantine, even if she might seem healthy.
Day 16 – Toxic Avenger

- Requirements: Find Limburger cheese.
- Directive: Confiscate item.
- Reward: 1200$
This is another one of the more simple requests. Just check bags until you find cheese, and confiscate it.
Day 17 – Wanted: Patient 0.5

- Requirements: 8 Horatio St., NY
- Directive: Eliminate target.
- Reward: 1200$
Right, for this one there are no words in bold but the directive is the same as previous ones. Simply check the City and Street name in the Distribution tab and you will find your target. Eliminate them by any means.
Day 18 – The Gray Tide

- Requirements: Thin out the rats.
- Directive: Eliminate 3 rats with the hammer.
- Reward: 1200$
If you were just as confused as I was when you saw this directive, worry not! The rats might be fast, but there is actually a solution to sneak up on them. When I had to shoot them for the achievements, I struggled a bit since they would move around manically.
Until I remembered that there is a button for crouching. Press CTRL and then you can get in a crouch position and get close to the ras without them running away. Then hit them with the hammer. Do it 3 times.
Day 19 – Rave From The Grave

- Requirements: Find soda can.
- Directive: Confiscate item.
- Reward: 1200$
Again, pretty simple. Confiscate the item and you should be able to clear the directive. Check the picture above to see what the can looks like.
Day 20 – Wanted: Food Monster

- Requirements: Find overweight survivor with vitiligo.
- Directive: Eliminate target.
- Reward: 1200$
Apparently, there is a cannibal trying to infiltrate the camp. She will have no symptoms, so be careful and eliminate anyone with that description.
Day 21 – Lone Walkers

- Requirements: Find zombies near the wall.
- Directive: Eliminate 3 of them.
- Reward: 1200$
Go to the defense zone past one of the walls in the Garage. I have shown pictures above of how it should look like. You can go up any of the defense towers for this, but try to find the one closest to the zombies roaming around. You can either carefully aim and aim at a slightly higher angle to get a good headshot, or simply spam shoot them. Bullets refill automatically so don’t worry about running out. Eliminate 3 zombies to clear the directive. Sometimes, security guards might eliminate a zombie and it still counts.
Day 22 – Dead Zone

- Requirements: Find district with animal related name.
- Directive: Send to quarantine.
- Reward: 1200$
Find a survivor with an animal related street. In my case it was “Crow”. Send them to quarantine.
Day 23 – Wanted: Dead Pike Mussik

- Requirements: Find Pike Mussik.
- Directive: Eliminate target.
- Reward: 1200$
The same as for the other name related directives, check the Distribution or Symptoms tab to see the survivor’s name. When you find Pike Mussik, eliminate him through any means.
Day 24 – Firestarter

- Requirements: Find flamethrower.
- Directive: Do NOT confiscate item.
- Reward: 1200$
For this directive, I had the same problem as Day 9, where no such object turned up. The advice is the same, any object that looks like it could be a flamethrower, just let it through.
Day 25 – Lone Walkers (Repeat)

- Requirements: Find zombies near the wall.
- Directive: Eliminate 3 of them.
- Reward: 1200$
This request is identical to the one on Day 21. Walkthrough is the same. Personally, I had a bug where no zombies would show up near the wall. In case that happens to you as well, try restarting the game and it should fix itself.
Day 26 – Classified Gear

- Requirements: Find chainsaw.
- Directive: Do NOT confiscate item.
- Reward: 1200$
Same exact issue as Day 9 and 24. No object turned up but the directive still gets cleared.
