At 11:30 AM on October 11, 2023, Sony announced which games they would be adding to their PlayStation Plus catalog in October of 2023 via a blog post on their website.
The frontrunners for this month’s catalog of games include the critically beloved horror games Alien Isolation and Outlast 2. In addition to these titles, House of Ashes will also be added to the catalog Three spine-tingling titles that will be perfect to play during the Halloween season.
For those of you who want to play a game fitting for Halloween but can’t handle horror games, this month’s catalog will also include the classic zombie shooter Dead Island: Definitive Edition.
Another shooter included in this month’s catalog is Gungrave G.O.R.E., a third-person shooter revival of the classic Gungrave franchise. This title was critically panned upon release but has gained a niche fanbase and will even be receiving an Ultimate Edition soon.
Fans of Role-Playing games will also be satisfied with this month’s catalog as the beloved title Disco Elysium will be added to the catalog. Allowing all PS Plus subscribers to role-play as the complete disaster of a human being that is Harrier Du Bois.
Other titles being added to the PS Plus Extra Catalog this month include Gotham Knights, Eldest Souls, FAR: Changing Tides, and Röki.
Ps Plus Premium subscribers will also be receiving several classic titles this month. Fighting games such as the PS3’s Tekken 6 and the PSP Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will be available to those who subscribed to this tier.
Outside of fighting games, the PS Plus Premium tier will also be adding Ape Escape Academy and IQ Final to its list of games.
All of these games and more will be added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium Catalogs on October 22, 2023. PS Plus Extra is currently available on Sony’s platforms for a $15 monthly subscription or a yearly $135 subscription.
