As Fate/Grand Order Part 2’s finale has begun, Japanese players have been faced with their final Grand Battle against Solomon (who has previously been the final boss of Fate/Grand Order Part 1. Once Solomon is defeated, the player can select any Caster-class servant they own to upgrade to Grand Caster status. This status grants a massive buff that is sure to help players in the final battle later this month.
With your chosen Grand Class getting a unique buff in addition to the default buff that Grand Class servants get by default, it can be quite intimidating to choose who you should give it to. The decision is made a bit easier with how offense-focused the buff if though, meaning that most support servants (of which the Caster class has a higher amount of than any other class in the game) would feel a bit wasted if they were granted this boost.
The details of the Grand Caster buff are as follows:
Grand Caster:
Quick Chain: Increase Quick NP Strength [20%] (1 time, 5 turns) for yourself + Apply a state that decreases Quick Card Resist [30%] for all enemies while the Grand is on the field
Arts Chain: Increase Arts NP Strength [20%] (1 time, 5 turns) for yourself + Apply a state that decreases Arts Card Resist [30%] for all enemies while the Grand is on the field
Buster Chain: Increase Buster NP Strength [20%] (1 time, 5 turns) for yourself + Apply a state that decreases Buster Card Resist [30%] for all enemies while the Grand is on the field
Note for the field effects: When a field effect from the Grand Score is activated, it will replace the one currently in effect. If multiple Grand Score field effects activate, it will apply in the order of the Grands’ Command Cards.
Mighty Chain: Increase ATK [20%] (1 turn) for all alliesWords at Your Fingertips: Apply a state that decreases Charge each turn (1 time, stackable) for one enemy if no Chain is formed + Restore 2000 HP for the ally with the lowest HP
Item Construction: Increase ATK [20%] (1 turn) for all allies or Gain 15 C. Stars or Increase NP Gauge [10%] for all allies when using a Skill (If a field effect from the Grand Score is currently in effect, the effects are fixed to the following: Quick = Increase ATK/Arts = Gain C. Stars/Buster = Increase NP Gauge)
Rapid Casting: Increase NP Gauge [30%] at the start of battle for yourself
With that explanation of what the Grand Caster buff will be, many of you are probably already thinking about who you will personally Grand when this battle reaches the English version of the game in two years’ time. For now, though, it’s the Japanese playerbase’s turn to make this decision.

While we’re unlikely to ever get an accurate number of which servants people are choosing to make their Grand Caster, the Japanese site Appmedia held a poll of nearly 2,000 people to get a general feeling for who players are going to Grand. The results can be found below:
