As the end of Fate/Grand Order Part 2 draws ever nearer by the day, fans of the game have been waiting in eager anticipation for what kind of ending awaits them. On the morning of December 13, 2025, the location of this final chapter was revealed by Type-Moon. The end of the story will be located where it all being, in A.D. 2004 – Flame Contained City: Fuyuki.
The reveal that the end of the game would be taking place in Fuyuki was exciting, not just for those with nostalgia for Fate/Stay Night which took place there, but also for players who have been paying close attention to the plot of Fate/Grand Order and certain plot threads that have been lingering for years. The plot thread of Singularity F not vanishing like the others and our simulation of Fuyuki not matching the proper history of 2004’s Grail Wars was one many fans expected to be forgotten as the game’s scope grew.
After announcing that Fuyuki would be the location of the finale, Type-Moon and Lasengle opened a countdown website showing how many days away the finale is. At the time of writing this, there is only 7 days remaining until this grand finale.

In addition to this countdown site, players who opened the Japanese version of the game this morning were greeted with a special trailer for the finale, while there was little in the way of actual detail about the finale in this trailer, it offers a nice retrospective about how far Mash has come since the beginning of Fate/Grand Order and how she is now a proper hero.
While the future of Fate/Grand Order and what will happen to the game after this finale and 2026’s confirmed Valentines’ Event is a mystery, Fate fans can at least rest assured that this finale is already looking to be a major event that no fan of the franchise can afford to ignore.
