In Digimon World Next Order, players have to pay a lot of attention to their Digimon. They will get hungry, they will need to use the toilet, and they will have a lot of normal problems. One of the most frequent requests from your Digimon in Digimon World Next Order will be to feed them. However, the game does a pretty poor job of explaining what buttons you are supposed to push to get the job done. Well, to help you keep your Digimon happy and healthy, here is how to feed your partners in Digimon World Next Order.

How to Feed in Digimon World: Next Order

Digmon have three main statuses that players will need to pay attention to. You will need to make sure that fatigue and toilet needs aren’t too high, and that they aren’t too hungry.

There is no way to tell if your partners are hungry besides if they start screaming at you that they want food. A meat icon will appear beside their head and they will start screeching non-stop.

Here is how you can feed your partners in Digimon World Next Order:

  1. Press X (on an Xbox or Switch controller)/ C (on a keyboard) to call your Digimon.
  2. Select the Items option.
  3. Go to the Ingredients category and select the food you want to give your Digimon.

You can also select just one of the Digimon by pressing the R or L buttons (Q or E on the keyboard). This way, you won’t have to give them the same food at the same time.

There are many types of food and all of them have different effects on your Digimon. Meat will increase their weight, while vegetables will lower it. This might not seem important now, but when they digivolve, it will matter a lot.
