Demons’ Timeline Chapter 3 is when the game truly takes off the training wheels. No longer will you be able to make deductions on who people are with the safety net of knowing their occupation, as from now on you will need to list everyone’s job manually. This is a huge difficulty spike and one that can be hard to adjust to if you still haven’t gotten a full grasp on reading through all the information on your timeline. Demons’ Timeline Chapter 3 Timeline 1 Walkthrough

We have seven people to identify this time around, with the entire timeline being centered around VR spaces and the type of avatars people create in them. Let’s get to scrolling and solve this mystery!

Decrypting Data

Like the previous chapters, there will be two different folders of data that we’ll need to decrypt. The passwords to these data folders are written below.

Identifying Accounts

As eluded two near the start of the walkthrough, from this point on the game will be taking off the training wheels when it comes to identifying accounts. From this point on you will have to identify a person’s job as well as their Main and Sub Account. Below is a list of every account in the chapter and the logic needed to identify them.

Mirika Baba

We’ll begin by searching for Mirika’s Sub Account as that’s the easier one to find. Sub Account <Green> has a post from two years ago lamenting over the possibility of becoming an unreasonable person when they turn 50 in 27 years. Adjusting for the time which has passed since they made that post, that would mean the poster is 25: Mirika’s age.

Now that we know Sub Account <Green> is Mirika, let’s take a close look at their posts about someone creeping on them and then reporting them. This is actually our clue for finding their main account. Head to the account for Aru @ Vcuber and the first post you’ll find is about how they reported an incident to Riki’s wife and that got his account deleted. This must be Mirika.

Figuring out Mirika’s job takes quite a leap in logic however, as there are little to no direct hints toward it. Because she spends multiple posts talking about and trying to educate others on proper internet etiquette, let’s lock her in as a member of a High School Administration Staff

Masaru Ishiyama

Figuring out which account belongs to Masaru Ishiyama isn’t too hard on paper, but it will require you to complete a miniature puzzle to realize who it is. If you go to the account for dARKMAtter (Puzzle Creator) you’ll find a puzzle where you need to convert symbols into letters based on a decipher sheet in the image. Solving this puzzle with reveal that the name of the person who runs this account is indeed Masaru.

With a post like that on his timeline, it isn’t exactly a mystery what Masaru’s job is. He is very obviously the Puzzle Creator that we need to identify.

Now that we know that Masaru is a Puzzle Creator, we can follow that information to find out which account is his Sub Account. Further down the timeline, you can find some posts from Sub Account <Yellow> talking about how they want to collaborate with Gizmo on a project. That means Masaru’s full identity is

Mafuyu Arino

It’s been a while since we’ve have someone who puts their date of birth in their bio, thankfully Mafuyu is here to provide.. If you go to the profile of Observable_R18 you’ll find out that they’re 31, meaning that they must be either Mafuyu or Ryoma. Now while that may seem like the only hint on this account as it doesn’t have many posts, we can actually link it to a Sub Account through information on the bio as well.

Head to the profile for Sub Account <Blue> and you’ll find not only a post complaining about people asking for free commissions on their main (Observable_R18 has “No requests” in their bio), but also a post about Riki no longer paying for his sub. This means that this account and Observable_R18 are linked!

How can we tie them to Mafuyu though? Well, Sub Account <Blue> has a post complaining about recent sexual harassment they’ve been receiving at their job as a Nurse. While this may seem like a leap in logic, there has been news articles on your timeline about how women harassment in the workplace has been increasing recently. Thus, this account should belong to a woman like Mafuyu and not a man like Ryoma.

Ryoma Narita

Ryoma Narita is by far the easiest account to identify in the game. Why? Because he put his full name in his profile. There is nothing we need to deduce here, his main account is Gizmo. Because every post on Gizmo’s account is a game dev diary, that also means we can safely say his job is Game Creator.

Now what about his Sub Account? This isn’t any harder to identify as most of the posts on Sub Account <Black> also talk about game development. This is Ryoma Narita’s full identity

Aruru Obikawa

Next we’ll need to figure out which accounts below to Aruru and what their job is. This is actually one of the easier tasks in the chapter as if we look through the posts of Neureino @ New Avatar in Production, we’ll find a conversation between them and Aru, saying that their real name is actually very similar to Aru’s. Because Aruru is the only name close to that, this must be them.

Figuring out that Neureino is Aruru will also directly lead us to their job. As they are the only Vcuber on your current timeline who talks about making their own model, they must be a CG Modeler.

The dominoes of identifying Aruru keep falling as now that we know they’re a CG Modeler, we can link the only Sub Account that talks about working on 3D models to them: Sub Account <Purple>. Aruru Obikawa’s full identity is:

Rintaro Himura

Next up we’ll be investigating the true identity of Rintaro Himura. Figuring out their Main Account is relatively easier as H-Chan has a post detailing how their username was based on their last name’s initial. Rintaro is the only person on our identification list who has a last name starting with H, so this must be him.

Learning that this incredibly lewd account belongs to Riki will guide us right to his Sub Account as well. If we look through the posts on Sub Account <Aqua>, we’ll see one talking about how getting attention from one lewd post will lead you to making many, linking the account directly to H-Chan.

The posts on Sub Account <Aqua> also reveal what Rintaro’s Occupation is, as he has a few posts talking about the medicine his company makes, firmly placing him as the Pharmaceutical Company General Staff we need to find.

Majime Ushiwata

Time to figure out our last account identity of the timeline. Remember how we figured out Mirika’s identity because she was nearly 30 years younger than the Ramen Shop owner? Well that logic can work in reverse as well as it means that the Ramen Shop Owner must be Majime, as he is the only person on our list older than 50.

Now that we know his occupation, we can easily link that to the Ramen Hado Official account, as that’s an account explicitly run by someone who runs a ramen shop that the Pig King visited. Sub Account <Orange> is also very easily to link to that occupation as the posts on it talk about customers at the ramen shop.

Quoting Parrots

Now that we’ve identified everyone in this Timeline, let’s get to Quoting the parrots we need to learn more information about the case.

Evidence of Riki Furuta’s Appearance in the VR Space

To find this Parrot, go to the Taboo News account and look for the article about how VRCube launched 14 years ago with an attached image of two kemono girls. One of the girls in the image is Riki’s avatar and thus is the evidence we need.

Testimony of Narita Erasing the Co-Developer’s Existence from his Mind

Next we need to find a post from Gizmo that erases Riki’s deserved credit from his upcoming game. This post can be found very recently on Gizmo’s account, look for the one where he claims that he made the game entirely by himself.

Reason for Ramen Hado’s Change in Policy

This post doesn’t come from any of the main accounts we needed to identify but rather a comment from someone with a default profile picture. To find it, go to the Ramen Hado Official account and look for a post talking about the Pig King with one comment. This comment, which is the post we need to quote, talks about how ever since the Pig King visited Ramen Hado the restaurant owner has become obsessed with having a social media presence.

Final Deduction

Now that we’ve gotten all the evidence we needed, it’s time to close off this timeline with a few questions.

Our second timeline of the chapter is centered around the students and faculty of Kansyo High School. We have nine different accounts to identify this time, but at least we don’t need to decrypt any extra data as this is still the same chapter.
