Chapter 2 of Demons’ Timeline is the first non-tutorial chapter of the game. That means the player will no longer need to search through a handful of accounts to figure out their identity but rather nine separate accounts in a timeline with dozens upon dozens of posts. While this chapter isn’t the hardest in the game, there are quite a few leaps of logic needed to full solve the case. If you are having any issues at all identifying these accounts, finding the appropriate Parrots, or summarizing the case, then feel free to use the following walkthrough for Demons’ Timeline Chapter 2: Paranormal.

Demon’s Timeline Chapter 2 Walkthrough

We have nine people to identify this time around, a huge jump from the four of the tutorial. Let’s just take this one step at a time so we don’t get too overwhelmed.

Data Recovery

Before we go digging through our timeline, let’s spend a few minutes unlocking and reading through the data on our computer. Input the following two passwords to get access to this chapter’s data.

QuestionAnswer
The abbreviation of the now-defunct online community of paranormal incident enthusiastsA.N.C.L.E.
The name of the Vcuber who went berserk during a livestreamMegumi

Account Identification

Now that we’ve decrypted our lost data, it’s time to look through the various accounts on the timeline and deduce who they are.

Takanori Shindo

Now that we’ve identified his main account, it’s time to start searching for Shindo’s sub account. Thankfully, we get a very big hint toward this is we scroll through the posts of Sub Account <White>. Here we will find a post talking about how lately Shindo has gotten unhealthily obssessed with hating the Vtuber Karen. If we go to Karen’s account, and more specifically the replies, we can find several posts from Sub Account <Red> spewing hate at her. This must be Shindo, meaning his identity is:

Main Account: World’s Anomalies Bot

Sub Account: Sub Account <Red>

Kaiji Kazemaki

Kaiji Kazemaki is one of the first accounts in the game where we’ll need to rely entirely on other people’s posts to find his Main Account. Instead, we should turn our eyes to Sub Account <Green>, who recently retweeted some news about the Phonon train and said it would be right up Kaiji’s alley. This likely mean that Cicada1700, whose profile picture is the Phonon Train, is Kaiji!

Now to find Kaiji’s sub account we’ll also need to follow his love of trains, and specifically the Phonon train. Looking through the posts of Sub Account <Black>, we’ll find a lot of hate and complaining about how searching the word Phonon online will bring up the EPORO character instead of the train. This is our target.

Main Account: Cicada1700

Sub Account: Sub Account <Black>

Ran Saida

Finding Saida’s main account is pretty easy. If you scroll down far enough in your timeline you’ll find a post from Sub Account <White> being shocked that Saida has over 60,000 followers. The only account on our current timeline with that large a following is Zuidou @ Short Novel Parroter.

Figuring out which account is her Sub Account however will take some slight leaps in logic. If you use Nyasuteria’s ability on one of the posts in her Main Account, you’ll find the hidden thought “Go to hell, Antis”. This is supposed to clue us in to searching for a sub account that complains about the replies they get. There is one account that fits this criteria is Sub Account <Purple>, which posted a meme talking about a similar topic. That mean’s Saida’s identity is:

Main Account: Zuidou @ Short Novel Parroter

Sub Account: Sub Account <Purple>

Futa Kusuki

While there might be a lot of accounts to identify this chapter, this one is pretty much a freebie as identifying the character whose job is listed as a full-time Vcuber is very easy. Futa’s main account is obvious Karen Kusakage, the only Vcuber on your current timeline.

Figuring out which sub account is Futa’s isn’t much harder. If you go to the replies of Karen’s posts you’ll find an argument between her and Shindo about how he completely switched sides on A.N.C.I.L.E. after the controversy. If you then go to Sub Account <Aqua>, you find a post about them bragging about being opportunistic. If that isn’t enough proof for you, they also made a post stating that they’re 30, Futa’s age. Futa’s accounts are:

Main Account: Karen Kusakage

Sub Account: Sub Account <Aqua>

Toma Wakasa

For this character we’ll need to figure out which account is Toma’s Sub Account first, as that information will lead us directly to his main account. Remember how earlier we scrolled through the posts in Sub Account <White> to learn information about Shindo? Well if we scroll up just a bit we know that this account was worried about Shindo because they’re a senior in the same college lab. Wakasa has been at the Midorikawa Laboratory longer than Shindo, thus this account must below to him.

How does learning this information help us find his main account though? Well the most recent post from Sub Account <White> tells us that he is obsessed with investigating weird cases, no matter how much he gets bashed online for it. If we go to the account of A.N.C.L.E. founder 2.4 Billion Yen Case, we’ll find a post where he apologizes for forming the group and says that he is no longer investigating weird cases.

Of course, we can read his true thoughts with Nyasuteria’s ability and see that he would never stop investigating as him and mysteries are bffs. This is clearly Wakasa’s Main Account! That means that Toma’s two accounts are:

Main Account: 2.4 Billion Yen Case

Sub Account: Sub Account <White>

Taishi Ogawa

Sadly I feel like a lot of information to determine who Taishi Ogawa is comes down to process of elimination. His main account for example, is Majorna TV, a wannabe YouCuber who is graduating and getting a job next year. This means they must either be Toma or Taishi, and we’ve already identified Toma earlier.

Now for his sub account, we’re going to focus on how Taishi is a student at Aoyama Laboratory. Earlier we checked Sub Account <Green> to learn about Kaiji’s love of trains, the reason this account knows that is because they are a classmate of Kaiji’s in Aoyama Lab. Because Taishi is the only other Aoyama Lab student we need to find, this must be him!

Main Account: Majorna TV

Sub Account: Sub Account <Green>

Mai Arate

Finding the main account of Mai Arate is another freebie. You are told right away that Mai is a pro-gamer and there is only one pro-gamer account on your timeline right now: Koyuuchy.

Similarly, we won’t have much trouble finding her Sub Account as Sub Account <Blue> says that someone name Rui was the second best EPORO player in A.N.C.I.L.E., behind them of course. This means Mai’s accounts are:

Main Account: Koryuuchy

Sub Accout: Sub Account <Blue>

Ryuji Kodama

Figuring out which accounts are Ryuji’s is one of the coolest paths of logic in the game. So let’s start with his main account. While scrolling through your timeline you might notice that one of the accounts is called Deleted Account, with every single post just saying “This account has been deleted”. Believe it or not, we can easily link this account to Ryuji. If you look at the posts of Sub Account <Blue>, you’ll find them lamenting about how “Rui’s account is gone”, how they were self-employed, and how they were the second best EPORO player in A.N.C.I.L.E.

The self-employed part of that message let’s us easily link the Deleted Account to Ryuji because the game already told us his job. As for the other posts, they’ll guide us right to his Sub Account. If you go to Sub Account <Yellow>, you’ll find an EPORO screenshot and a post mocking you to find the truth. This is Ryuji Kodama’s sub account, so his full identity is:

Main Account: Deleted Account

Sub Account: Sub Account <Yellow>

Anri Kurabe

Finally, we need to figure out who Anri Kurabe is. Finding her main profile is quite easy as if you go to the bio of the account Lambda Inuaki, you’ll see her describe herself as an ‘Adult professional female’. There are only two women we have to find this chapter and one of them is a professional gamer, that leaves only Anri as a potential candidate for this account’s identity

While searching through the posts on Lambda’s account, you’ll be able to read her true thoughts and find out she still harbors anger toward Furimu for killing Hitomi. Following that hint, look through the posts of Sub Account <Orange> to find posts of a similar nature. That mean’s Hitomi’s identity is

Main Account: Lambda Inuaki

Sub Account: Sub Account <Orange>

Quoting Parrots

There is only one Parrot we need to quote during this chapter. We need to find a post stating the reason why L and Nyasuteria were suspected of leaking the group’s information. This can be found via Shindo’s sub-account and a comment he made on one of Taboo News’ posts. Here he is talking about a boy and girl who were in the group and didn’t talk much, he is referring to you.

Final Deduction

Time to piece together all of the information we learned and make a judgement about this case.
