Dynamo is, at least in theory, a support character thanks to his healing skill and general crowd control attacks. However, this hero can easily carry if you play aggressively enough and get all the right items when you’ve got the Souls. His Kinetic Pulse (1 skill) is especially powerful, as it allows you to gain control of a fight and deal massive damage quickly to any enemy hero. In this guide I will show you the best Dynamo build by telling you which items to get and in which order to unlock and upgrade his skills.
Best Skill Unlock and Upgrade Order for Dynamo
As I said earlier, Dynamo is a beast if you use his 1 correctly. This is why we need to prioritize getting the first upgrade, which slows down both movement and fire rate for enemies when hit.
The key is to play aggressively once you get the first upgrade for skill 1, since you can severely debuff the enemy heroes and control your lane with ease.
Once you get the upgrade for Kinetic Pulse, unlock all the other skills and then upgrade them all to the final level, keeping Kinetic Pulse at level 3 until you have nothing else to use your points on.

Here’s the best skill order for Dynamo:
- 1 → 1 → 3 → 2 → 1 → 4 → 3 → 3 → 3 → 2 → 2 → 2 → 4 → 4 → 4 → 1
If you’re not familiar with the numbers’ meaning, 1 means the skill on the 1 numpad (which is Kinetic Pulse for Dynamo), and so on.
Best Item Build for Dynamo
The first thing you need to do in the item menu is to press the Browse Builds button in the top right corner and select the Gun Gigio Dynamo build (the one with the most likes at the moment of writing).
This is by far the best build available for Dynamo as it keeps getting updated regularly by Gigio.
Here are the exact items the build uses if you don’t want to copy it exactly, but learn the general vibe of it:
Early Game
The general strategy in the early game is to get all of these items. Don’t try to jump to late game items too quickly as there is more to gain by filling out your item slots with cheap options.
Once you get better items and switch out the early game items, you will get 250 Souls back, which means all you lose is 250 Souls by getting these items. You can get those Souls back by just defeating a basic mob in the late game.
