After an unbelievable twist, Dark Auction throws the player into one last auction segment. This is by far the hardest one in the game as you aren’t given a full investigation segment to prepare for it, merely the bits of exposition before it. Because of this, getting the achievement for completing the auction without taking any damage can be very hard on a first playthrough. If you’re on a replay and just want to blaze through this auction or are merely trying to make your first playthrough a perfect run, then please feel free to follow this walkthrough detailing all the correct steps in Dark Auction’s final auction.
Dark Auction Final Auction Walkthrough
For this final auction we’ll be diving into the memories of the man who has been running the auction this whole time: Klaus. What does this secret time traveler have hiding in his past? Follow the steps below to find out.
Stage 1
For the first stage you’ll need to make correct dialogue choices to fill in the empty puzzle pieces. There are seven pieces to fill in during this stage. The correct choices to make are:
- 1964
- Black Leather Book
- Auction Invitation
- Zaian Flag
- EPO
Stage 2
During the second stage you’ll need to fill in the blanks during the timeline pictured above with the images you obtained during the previous stage. There are three blank spaces during this stage, fill them in with the following information
- Select space 1 and fill it with image 1 (1964)
- Select space 6 and fill it with image 3 (Klaus preparing the EPO)
- Select space 9 and fill it with image 2 (Klaus looking at the Dark Auction invitation)
Stage 3
Then for the third stage you’ll need to find parts of the timeline you just constructed which contradict reality and use information you have to fix them. During this auction there are four different contradictions in the timeline. Here’s how you’ll fix them.
- Replace the “1964” red dot (Located on the 1st slide) with “1955”
- Replace the “Zaian” red dot (Located on the 6th slide) with “Orev Association”
- Replace the “Black Leather Book” red dot (Located on the 9th slide) with “Maria’s Truth”
Stage 4
Finally, you’ll need to use the memories you obtained in the previous stage to fill in the blank memories in the final stage of the auction. Here are all the blanks you’ll need to fill
- Use the Resistance Badge on Film 1
- Use the Orev Association Executive Badge on Film 4
- Use the Photo of Geheimnis Castle Sheet on Film 6
