If we have the power to control who lives and who dies, why can’t we control who’s pregnant when using the console commands in Crusader Kings 2 (CK2)? Well, luckily, you can always control the fertility and pregnancy of the characters in CK2, but it might be as easy as you would imagine. Pregnancy will be fairly easy to control, but fertility is a different animal. Here are all the cheat commands you can use in CK2 to control fertility and pregnancy.

Control Fertility using the Cheat Console in CK2
Unfortunately, there isn’t a console command to just set the fertility of a character. However, since you can already see the fertility stat of a character, you can influence their total number by giving traits or using a special event that increases fertility.
If you want a character to have 0% fertility in CK2, you can just give them the celibate trait using the “event CM.6104 <Character ID>” cheat.
If you just want to lower the fertility of a character, but not bring it to 0%, you can give them the homosexual, weak, and chaste traits to lower it by 35%.
However, you will most likely want to increase the fertility of a character. Using the command “event 100115” will give you an event that will increase fertility by 10%.
You can use as much as you want to bump up fertility to 100%.
Control Pregnancy using the Cheat Console in CK2
Pregnancy is much more straightforward than fertility in CK2. No matter someone’s fertility stat, you can get them pregnant using this simple cheat code:
- pollinate <female character ID> <male character ID>
Now, make sure that you don’t leave any extra spaces between the command, “pollinate,” the female ID, and the male ID. You only need to have one space between them. If you leave more the cheat won’t work.
To see character IDs, you just need to type in the “charinfo” command. You will now see the ID of any character if you hover over their portrait.
You can also get someone pregnant secretly in CK2, you will have to use a different console command:
- cuckoo <female character ID> <male character ID>
Also, make sure that the character ID that you are using is the correct one. If the cheat doesn’t work, it’s either because you wrote it wrong or the char IDs are wrong.
And that is all you need to know about fertility and pregnancy cheat commands in CK2. Check out other interesting guides and articles:
