While many quests in Blood of the Dawnwalker only require the player to walk to wherever the quest dictates in order to fight some enemies or destroy a vampire’s facility, some of them require the player to do a bit of detective work. One of these missions is the Lost Blood quest, which asks the player to deliver a letter that they find on a seemingly random corpse to its’ rightful owner with the only hint being the city that they’re located in (the largest city in the game). If you’re afraid of the game’s timer counting down as you search for the letter’s author, here is a quick walkthrough for the Lost Blood quest in Blood of the Dawnwalker
Lost Blood Quest Walkthrough
Before we become the world’s first vampire mailman, let’s make sure we get the letter first. While walking through St. Tyna’s Trails (By the Pilgrim’s Grove Shrine fast travel point), make your was west to the treeline that seperates the area from one of Ambrus’ Camps.

Here you will find a Malnorished Murohn who will immediately attack you. Slay the beast and loot it to find a letter addressed to the man’s father, Coen will proceed to have some dialogue directing you to Silberstein, a district in Svartrau City as delivering this dead man’s letter is the right thing to do.
When you arrive at Svartrau City, you’ll get a quest marker range that covers almost a third of the city as we have no idea who to actually deliver the letter to. Thankfully, the man’s father is not one of the various NPCs walking by but rather a merchant who can be found in the location pictured below.

Speak the the man’s father to deliver the letter (This will consume 1 segment of time) and proceed to watch the follow dialogue exchanges, your choices will have no impact on the quest or your final reward. After learning that his son has died, the merchant will close his shop for the day and ask you to return tomorrow.
Come back the next day and speak to the man again. He’ll ask you if you still have his son’s ring, your choice here doesn’t matter as he’ll simply ask you to sell it to him if you do have it. Regardless of your choice, this is the end of the Lost Blood Quest.
