Like a Dragon Gaiden’s city of Sotenbori is filled with many references to the real-life Japanese region of Osaka. One particular side quest in the game will have you take a picture of Osaka’s famous mechanical clown Kuidaore Taro. However, finding a human-sized mechanical clown can be harder than it sounds. The city of Sotenbori is quite large and filled with many landmarks just like him. It doesn’t help that you can’t go two steps in this city without a fight happening to disorient you. As such, here is the exact location of Kuidaore Taro, Osaka’s Famous Clown, in Like a Dragon Gaiden, where you can take a photo of him.

Kuidaore Taro, Osaka’s Famous Clown, can be found in the center of Sotenbori Street in Like a Dragon Gaiden. He’s located in the area directly between Club Sega and the Yokobori Golf Center. Snap a picture of him to continue the quest.
To take photos in Like a Dragon Gaiden, press the up button on your D-Pad. If a building or other quest objective needs to be photographed, an X button prompt will appear on the screen to indicate what you need to take a photo of.
After you’ve taken a photo of Kuidaore Taro, head on down to the quest giver underneath Poppo (Shofukucho). Hand him the photo and you’ll be rewarded with 500 Akame Points and 10,000 yen
While the yen reward is nearly useless, the Akame Points are worth it as they are used to upgrade Kiryu’s abilities.
While there are plenty of quests that give more points than Osaka’s Famous Clown, there are also plenty that give less. Some even go down as low as 200 points.
Because of this and how easy the task is once you know where the clown is, Osaka’s Famous Clown is worth doing early on in the game when it unlocks.
