How to Unlock Secret Final Boss and Get the True Ending in Sonic Superstars
To unlock the final secret boss and get the true ending to Sonic Superstars, you will need to do these 3 things:
- Complete the Story Mode once.
- Complete Trip’s Story once.
- Get all 7 Chaos Emeralds.
After you manage to do these three things, you will now see a new option in the menu, between Story Mode and Trip’s Story, and Battle Mode and Timed Attack, called Last Story.
When you select to start the Last Story, you will immediately witness a huge dark dragon appear from nowhere, with Super Sonic getting ready to face it. Though you fly around as Super Sonic for the whole fight, you will also get Knuckles and Tails to help Sonic with a few rings.
Your goal for most of the battle will be to fly around collecting rings that randomly spawn around to keep up Sonic’s Super form. Otherwise, if you lose all your rings and reach 0, the fight ends and you will have to start over.
After the fight is done, you will see a cute scene where the animals throw Sonic and Trip up in the air to congratulate them for winning the fight, even though Trip also participated for a second at the end, instantly finishing the battle.
