Digimon Story: Time Stranger features numerous side quests for players to participate in, scattered throughout both the real and Digital Worlds. These quests will typically have the players fight through the areas they have just been in or talk to specific NPCs that the game directs them toward. Some, however, take away these quest markers and have the player scavenge around on their own. One of these quests is PlatinumNumemon’s Jewelry, which requires the player to search for a single hidden Digimon in the sewers. Digimon Time Stranger – PlatinumNumemon Jewelry Sidequest Guide
This quest will start simply enough after you accept it from Big Bearmon, just having you follow quest markers in the sewers, fighting some Gearmon along the way. Eventually, though, Deputymon will assign you with the task of finding a PlatinumNumemon in the sewers, and you’ll be completely on your own in this search.
To begin, you’ll need to make your way all the way down to the bottom of the sewers. As this is likely the third time you’ve fought through this dungeon due to a combination of the main story and sidequests sending you here, but just bear through it one more time.
After walking all the way down to the bottom of the sewers (likely fighting every enemy along the way), you may lose heart as you won’t see PlatinumNumemon at all. Do not lose heart, though, as stepping into the final room at the bottom of the sewers is actually the spawn trigger to make PlatinumNumemon appear.
Once you’ve made your way to the bottom of the sewers, backtrack all the way back to the beginning of the dungeon, and you’ll find PlatinumNumemon directly next to the entrance, very close to where an Outer Dungeon is located. Fight and destroy him to get the jewelry before returning to Bearmon to finish the quest.
