Most puzzle solving in 007: First Light comes in the form of figuring out how to sneak past guards or how to manipulate a situation in order to enter a location. Rarely does the game as the player to fiddle with buttons or read documents to learn how to progress. However, there is a moment while exploring the Slovakia Hotel in the chapter “All the Time in the World” where the player will need to puzzle their way into finding a secret passageway in order to progress through the game. If this puzzle is giving you any difficulty at all, the please feel free to use this walkthrough for the Dining Room puzzle solution in 007: First Light.
How to Open the Dining Room Fireplace in 007: First Light

When chasing after the blonde man in the hotel during the “All the Time in the World” chapter, you’ll eventually come across a dining room that the man has seemingly disappeared from. James will make some comments about how confusing it is and reason that there must be a secret passage somewhere, and it’s your job to find it.
To start finding the secret passage, walk on over to the trolley table that the blonde man was pushing around and you’ll find a torn page of an old book (in fact it’s the same book you heard about the man ripping near the start of the start). While you cannot read the page because it’s in a different language, you can see an image of a chimera drawn on it.
Next, make your way to the fireplace in the room and you’ll find a panel with six buttons that you can interact with. Each button has an animal carved into it, but how do we figure out which ones to press? Well, while the page we found on the other side of the room doesn’t have any of these animals drawn on it, we can still use it to figure out what to press.

A chimera is a fusion of three animals; A Lion, a Snake, and a Goat. Press those three buttons (It doesn’t matter what order you press them in) and you’ll solve the puzzle and be able to continue the chapter.
