At the recent Pokémon Presents live stream, the Pokémon Company have announced an upcoming Netflix show named Pokémon Concierge. Just by looking at the art style, it seems that Pokémon Concierge will be a low budget work with a relatively plain plot. The story that the Pokémon Netflix show will feature will show a Pokémon resort where the pocket monsters come to relax. It is not clear why this show will exist, other than promoting their new app, Pokémon Sleep.

Pokémon Concierge will show the story of a Pokémon caretaker in a sunny beach resort. It is not clear if there will be any big plotlines in this show, but Minyoung Kim, the Vicepresident of Content, promised in the Pokémon Presents live stream that the story will be new, unique, and groundbreaking.
This will be the first ever project between the Pokémon Company and Netflix. The stop motion animation that the show will utilize might actually be interesting, if done right, but with the recent adaptations and shows done by Netflix showing such poor quality, it would be a disappointment to have expectations.
All we can do now is wait and see when new content comes out if Pokémon Concierge will be a new hit amongst the fans or just another dead Netflix show that will rot away in their library. With the change of Ash Ketchum in the original Pokémon anime, we know that most Pokémon fans will be more interested in that show rather than in a stop motion show about a Pokémon resort.
