To do these things you’ll need Gold and Kuiper Shards, the game’s main currencies for becoming stronger. Luckily, there is an easy way to farm for these resources by just repeating an easy mission hours on end. Here is the best Gold, Kuiper Shard, and XP farm in The First Descendant.
Best Gold, Kuiper, and XP Farm in The First Descendant
The best place to farm Gold and Kuiper is the Battlefield Mission Anticipated Ambush Point in Sterile Land, Rockfall. You can see the mission location on the map below.
Though the game says the mission takes around 3 minutes, it actually takes around 30 seconds. All you need to do here is to defeat the enemies. There is no time constraint, which allows you to quickly end the quest.
On Hard difficulty, you will gain around 12k Gold and 2k XP every time you complete the mission. If you’re also looking for Kuiper Shards, you will need to defeat the enemies and not just let your companions do the work.
You can get around 300k Kuiper per hour if you use a character like Bunny to constantly zap the enemies around you, allowing for easy AOE kills.
The mission also gives mod rewards, which you can destroy for even more Kuiper. In one hour you will have an extra 100k Kuiper from destroyed mods.
When it comes to Gold, you will also pick up dropped loot from the enemies, which means you will generally get around 20 to 30k Gold per run. In an hour, you can get at least a million.
Tips for Maximum Efficiency
- Use Bunny. Non debatable if you want Gold and Kuiper.
- When the mission ends, press F2 and R to immediately restart. This will help you avoid wasting time running back to the beacon.
